Chapter 317: 311: Now That’s What I Call Squandering Money (Middle)

“Boss.” Luca Hall picked up Finn’s phone call, not irritated at all even though it was already past four in the morning in the North Federation.

“Mmm, Luca, I need you to come to Celeston City, hmm, at 10 a.m. Gold Star City time tomorrow. Can you manage it?” Finn came straight to the point. “Boss, you’re the Almighty. I will appear in Celeston City at 10 a.m. sharp tomorrow. However, may I ask what kind of business you need me to handle? So I can prepare materials in advance.” Luca Hall respectfully asked.

Finn chuckled. He had to admit that Luca was talented. Damn, who said only Chinese people knew how to butter up their bosses? Luca wasn’t any worse.

“Starting tomorrow, your annual salary will be five million federal coins.” Finn gave Luca Hall a raise without hesitation.

On the other side of the phone, Luca was taken aback, blushing with joy.

Although the lawyer profession is considered high-income in the North Federation, and he himself ranked among the top three law firms in the whole federation, his annual income was only around one million federal coins.

This income was already incredibly high. You have to understand, the law industry in North Federation emplaces heavy importance on connections. Some superior lawyers, if you are not charged with crimes like treason, could even get you off even if you fall into the hands of the CIA or FBI.

This is the impressive aspect of prominent lawyers in North Federation. However, Luca wasn’t on that level yet. Usually, lawyers of that caliber deal with matters for many senators.

But now, Finn directly increased his salary by five times! An annual salary of five million federal coins! Within the legal profession, it is almost the highest income.

“Thank you, boss.” Luca tried to keep his voice as calm as possible.

“Hmm, I mainly want to buy a private plane, but I haven’t decided between Sky Crane or Wolfhawk. And then there’s the matter of the route.” Finn nodded.

“In this case, with your current financial strength, you can try approaching Reeve Silver Group or Floral Group. Other banks and financial oligarchs are also an option, they all have strong connections,” Luca immediately suggested.

“Hmm, I’ve already made the calls.” Finn nodded. After chatting with Luca, Finn thought for a while, then called Matthew Chan again, revealed the purpose of their meeting tomorrow. He told them the objective and didn’t bother to chat further.

After hanging up, Finn picked up the plan that Henry Lewis had sent. Henry needed a lot more detailed planning, especially since he needed a hefty sum of funds. Truthfully, Finn didn’t have that much liquid cash on hand. After rough calculations, the amount of available funds converted to federal coins from would add up to around four to five hundred million federal coins.

Then there was the 100 tons of gold that Finn had asked the Rhine Kingdom Bank and Red Bank to handle valued approximately 46 billion federal coins. Of course, if Finn was willing, either bank or both could provide loans exceeding 100 billion federal coins for Finn. Therefore, Finn had a lot of available funds.

Firstly for Henry’s part, Finn needed to purchase several companies, starting with a fisheries company. It also had to have open-sea fishing capabilities which weren’t a problem. Then there was the need for an open-ocean shipping company with substantial shipping capabilities.

Next up are agribusiness companies, which were not a problem, and could be established directly since Henry had already prepared the farms and ranches. To put it bluntly, Finn wanted a complete industry chain.

Henry listed every company Finn needed to purchase in the plan. Finn thought a moment, let Jim Lewis print out this list as well just in case it was needed tomorrow.

When Finn reached Moon of West Lake at 10 a.m., Matthew Chan, Lawrence

Rodger, and Oscar Blair had already arrived. Finn had already notified Hannah Lincoln and given Mathew the Purple Crystal Card. Even if Mathew probably wouldn’t spend as much, Finn still gave it.

Lawrence Rodger and Oscar Blair were first-timers here, and even though it was their first time, they knew all about the dishes served in this restaurant. So when Finn walked into their private room, he was met with Lawrence’s and Oscar’s speechless gaze.

“Mr. Lewis, Hello. Let me introduce you, this is Mr. Michael Bolton, the president of Sky Crane in Flame Nation, and this is Mr. Gary Greer, the president of Wolfhawk in Flame Nation,” Lawrence quickly introduced Finn. At his side, Matthew Chan also stood up with a smile, “Mr. Lewis, let me introduce Mr. Dim Morris, who is the general manager of Aeronautics Company in Flame Nation.”

“Nice to meet you, Mr. Morris, Mr. Bolton, Mr. Greer.” Finn shook hands with all three men. Michael Bolton and Gary Greer had adopted Flame National names, as part of the process of adapting to local customs. However, both men were true foreigners. Yet, being the president of their respective companies in Flame Nation meant their understanding of the Flame National language and other local customs was deep and thorough.

However, Finn was confused about why Aeronautics Company of Flame Nation was here. He knew about Aeronautics Company, a state-owned enterprise established to manufacture Flame Nation’s commercial aircraft. Still, they seemed not to have any mature products on the market currently. What were they doing here?

“Boss.” At this time, Luca Hall respectfully greeted Finn. There was no trace of fatigue on his face and he looked invigorated.

“You’ve worked hard.” Finn grinned.

“It’s my duty.” Luca Hall smiled and nodded. Finn laughed and said, “Everyone, please sit. Today, I’m the host.”

“Big spender.” Matthew Chan joyously gave a thumbs up to Finn immediately..
