Chapter 316: 310: Now That’s What I Call Squandering Money

Feeling Kay’s response, Finn’s hands began to wander. She was barely dressed due to the searing heat. Even through her clothes, Finn could feel the warmth radiating off Kay. Unlike before, when Finn was physically weak due to Zero’s seal, Finn was now full of vigor. Especially after taking the potion, his energy was incredibly high, almost overwhelming. After all, apart from being with Emma Lewis, Finn hadn’t been with anyone else.

Finn reluctantly pulled his hands away from Kay, his desire, however, was written all over his face. When they finally pulled apart, the blush on Kay’s face had not yet faded. Their gazes collided in the silent car, making Finn stutter, “Can I… Can I come over tonight?”

The blush on Kay’s face, which had faded, quickly resurfaced, her ears turning pink. Shyly, she responded, “But…Sarah has been staying over at my place…Maybe we could figure out a way around this?”

Fuming, Finn thought ‘Sarah’s really the ultimate third-wheel!’.

“Never mind, we’ll have other chances.” Finn gave up, not wanting to cause any upheaval in Kay’s house, especially with Sarah’s knack for overthinking things and messing up plans.

Sitting upright, Finn refocused his attention on the road. Kay, sitting in the passenger seat, stole a glance at Finn and asked nervously, “You’re not angry, are you?”

Laughing, Finn turned his gaze to Kay, “Why would I? There will be plenty of time. After all, she can’t stay with you forever. You’re not going anywhere.”

A blush spread across her face at his innuendos. Looking away, she tried to suppress the wave of happiness bubbling in her chest. She found herself involuntarily envisioning what he had suggested.

‘Am I falling for him?’ The thought crossed Kay’s mind. She stole a glance at him and smiled at his profile.

Having dropped Kay at home, Finn didn’t achieve his goal, with Sarah obstructing him again. He contemplated whether he should go to Emma’s. That idea, however, seemed devilishly tempting.

‘Damn it!’ Finn remembered the task. The task with the 100 ladies he apparently accepted! That’s something he could never do! And it has nothing to do with completing the task. It’s purely because of his character.

Looking over his reflection he thought: In the movie Ironman, Anthony Stark has a perfect character for this type of task. Hell, he could have completed the task in less than six months. Finn decided to leave the task for later; after all, Zero didn’t impose any deadline.

‘To hell with the punishment for incomplete tasks when I’m about to die.’

Shaking it all off, he pulled over. He called Fishy Wells and instructed her, “Fishy, you should go to my house, in the drawer of the living room coffee table, there’s a box labelled ‘Cloud Mist Tea’. Get a box and send it to Emma

Lewis. I’ll send the address ASAP.”

Running away isn’t Finn’s way to deal with things. He’ll take one step at a time. As soon as he ended the call with Fishy, Olivia chimed in, “Sir, if you intend to carry through the trade with Kim and others, you’ll need a private jet first.”

“That’s easy to say but not easy to do. Buying a private jet isn’t like buying a car. I can’t just walk into a showroom and make a purchase. I need to place an order first, then they’ll manufacture it. It could take a year or even two years from order to delivery.” Just like what was written in Olivia’s plan, Finn frowned.

“Don’t you have the big three banks under you?” Olivia broke into laughter.

“For the record, I don’t own those banks.” Finn argued.

“Okay, but you can call them over. They have vast connections in this field. According to my information, Sky Crane and Wolfhawk have nearly 14 private jets scheduled for delivery soon. If you include those scheduled within the next six months, the number rises to 28.” Olivia said, laughing.

That left Finn stunned. He couldn’t believe there were so many rich people in the world. Over the next six months, 28 private jets would be delivered! This world indeed has lots of wealthy individuals.

“Sure, I’ll notify the banks. Besides, purchasing the private jet would also involve applying for flight paths, especially to XX region, wouldn’t it?” Finn asked.

“Yes, that’s correct. The North Federation’s aviation company has an advantage over this. They have some regulations. I suggest you contact Luca Hall about that.” Olivia suggested.

Nodding, Finn reflected on how his funds for Luca came handy for the first time.

Once he got home, Finn quickly dialed Matthew Chan, Oscar Blair, and Lawrence Rodger. To his surprise, all three were in Celeston City. He didn’t ask why, but it seemed both Rodger and Blair had changes in their positions..
