Picking Up Beautiful Girls In The Post-Apocalyptic World!

The queen watched Lily as she watched Yana and Rina walk with the children and she shrugged.

Lily really didn’t like kids all that much so she didn’t bother following them and she really didn’t care about seeing the castle like Yana or Rina. And besides, Yue already ruined her image of children forever after scaring her so many times!

The queen asked Lily what Han was up to now and Lily smiled. The woman might not be comfortable with Han but she was a good ruler. The queen understands that it’s good to make friends with someone as strong as Han and that is why she is trying this hard even though Han did all of that to her people before.

“I don’t know what he is doing now, but I think he has been fighting a lot. Those earthquakes happening have become more frequent recently,”

“Wait! Those were because of Han!?”

The queen was shocked! Han was the one causing the earthquakes!? She thought the temple was collapsing on itself! She and her husband have even been thinking about moving their people somewhere else if this continues anymore since this floor is too unstable now! She should have known that man was involved in this somehow!

After that shock passed, the queen just spoke with Lily as they walked around the castle. They knew the path that the children were taking because they could hear their voices so they just followed behind them. It didn’t take that long for the children to show the two girls around and before an hour they had already seen everything. Yana was so excited when she came back! Yana was carrying Sylph in her hands and Rina was smiling happily as she held Trewly’s hand! She was so happy that she finally got to hold one of them!

The girls thanked the queen for everything and the queen apologized that her husband couldn’t greet them. He was busy visiting a higher floor and he couldn’t see them this time. The guards that the queen told to bring the wolves finally brought it back and the girls happily left with them while thanking the queen for her hospitality.

After that, the girls went to the thirteenth floor to get the basilisk. Yes, it’s that basilisk. The giant snake with poisonous fangs. The basilisk was a very popular monster on this floor, especially for the gold stars. They were impossible for silver stars to hunt because their poison was strong enough to kill a silver star, but if they bite a gold star then it would only slow them down for a while and they wouldn’t die. Luckily, Lily was already a gold star and Yana was more than capable of taking care of herself!

Rina stood back in case any of the girls needed healing and she also looked over the wolves they got to make sure none of the other basilisks would come to steal their food! Yana was shocked to see the basilisk at first. It was a giant snake that was longer than two hundred meters! Who wouldn’t be shocked!? Yana has been sheltered for a long time and she never even needed to fight before, but even still, she could easily tell that she can handle these beats on her own. It wasn’t that strong even if it looked really scary.

But Yana didn’t have to do anything because Lily easily dealt with the basilisk. She used her [Frozen Domain] and [Ice Queen] Boost to boost her strength by five times before dodging when the snake tried to bite her and ran to the side. She formed a sword out of ice and jumped up into the air as the snake turned around to bite her again! Lily has already fought against Han, so she felt no fear at all even when she was right in front of the beast’s mouth. She planted her foot on the giant fang and jumped back as she used her [Ice Familiar] to create a double that distracted the snake and exposed its neck, and with only one Slash of her sword, the basilisk was beheaded!

Lily and the head dropped to the ground at the same time and black blood gushed out from the beheaded monster as the body fell to the ground with a loud ‘Boom!’. Lily grimaced. This thing tasted amazing, but she would never get used to how disgusting it was before cooking it! She looked towards Rina and Rina smiled as she came forward and grabbed the large body that was almost two hundred times longer than her like it was some sort of toy! She started to drag it towards the portal as Lily grabbed the large head and followed her. Yana was already dragging the wolves behind her and it was easy for her to follow the two girls as they chatted while walking back to the first floor!

Once they got to the first floor, the girls first had to get away from the multiple people who all wanted to buy the monsters from them. It was very rare to see ice wolves on the first floor because the Queen of the Echo wouldn’t give them out to anyone, so these merchants all wanted to have them! But the girls managed to easily get away and make their way to the restaurant.

Yana was smiling so wide when she entered the restaurant and she couldn’t wait to get back up to the higher floors now! She will have to tell Han all about this! She was getting along with the other wives!

Yana had no idea that Han already knew what was happening, but when she is telling him about this in the future he’ll just stay silent and listen to her like he never knew about it before. What did you expect!? His wives are cute when they are excited and he wouldn’t want to kill that excitement at all! He loved when they are like this!

The general was extremely relieved when he saw Yana entering the restaurant without any injuries on her. Her clothes were stained with blood from the hunt but she didn’t look like she got injured at all! I was so worried! The king would’ve killed me if the queen got injured!

Yana hung out with the girls some more that day and it wasn’t until later in the evening that she finally told them that she would be leaving. She thanked them for accepting her so easily and she promised to come back with Han some other time so they can all spend time together. Rin hugged Yana and made her promise that she would look out for Han. He needs more people to protect him too. He might be the strongest person I know but he isn’t invulnerable. He also needs support no matter what he thinks.

Yana smiled and promised the older wife that she would do anything she can to help their husband. Rin finally smiled back and then waved goodbye as Yana left to the upper floors again!

Han and Gregory were on floor sixty and they were about to move in secret towards floor sixty-one. The reason why they were moving in secret from here was that Han didn’t want anyone informing Ratte of them. Han knew he was the most famous man up here and Gregory was also very famous because of how fast he was growing, so Han didn’t need anyone to know he was going to floor sixty-three! If anyone knew, then Ratte will definitely find out as well and if he is anything like what Quinthreath says then he will run away!

Both Han and Gregory had their [Shadow Travel] skills active as they moved towards the portal. Gregory was shocked that Han also had a Nightwalker skill even though he is a mage, but the boy learned long ago to stop being shocked by these things! Just accept it! It will give you less brain damage that way!

“Who do you think you are!? Better go back before I throw you away from here! You don’t even have the chance to enter the sixty-second floor and you want to go to floor sixty-three!?”

That voice was from the portal in front of the two men. Gregory and Han looked up to see two people, a boy, and a girl, being pushed back by a soldier guarding the portal. There was a long line of people that wanted to enter the portal and the guards were checking their level and skills with [Assimilation] before they would allow them to get through.
