Chapter 67: Theo
Climbing three flights of stairs isn\'t too tiring for Aldric, but Jenny\'s breathing starts to get labored, though it\'s not obvious by the time they reach the third flight of stairs. Chapter Explore:
Every floor in this house was quite high, so the stairs were also very high.
When they finally reached the fourth floor, Jenny breathed a sigh of relief while Aldric looked around.
Since arriving there, he thought he was actually in a gym.
It was full of gym equipment, practically complete with tools for all kinds of exercises.
Aldric even saw a warm water pool with a size of about 3×3 meters.
All these were bought by Jenny just for her little brother, Aldric could not help but be amazed by her finances.
Of course, she spent an awful lot of money.
A young man was lying on a chair, playing with his cell phone.
The young man was probably 15 or 16 years old. His skin was very pale with a very thin body.
He was undoubtedly Theo.
As someone with the same genetics as Jenny, he naturally had a handsome face.
His thin body didn\'t make his face look bad. It was just that his hair was a bit long which made it less well-groomed.
"Jenny, do you never feed your little brother?" asked Aldric, unable to help but ask because by his estimation, the young man only weighed about 40 kg.
If he was short, it still looked good, but his height should have reached 180 cm.
In fact he should be able to grow taller if he ate well.
With a body this thin, Aldric was worried that he would die instantly if he took a hit from him.
"Of course, I feed him, but he always eats little. I\'m not sure why either, he seems to feel full despite eating so little," Jenny replied.
"Weight training is the solution," said Aldric. "First, he needs to work on his back."
Right after he said that, Theo seemed to notice them.
He stared at them and seemed surprised to see Jenny coming with a man who was about her age.
This man didn\'t seem like a trainer.
His appearance was too flashy and the way he interacted with Jenny seemed like they were very familiar.
He even suspected that his sister had a special relationship with this man.
This somewhat made him uncomfortable.
Not that he had a problem with it, but he had reservations if she brought him to this house.
However, as he continued to observe Aldric, he somehow felt he was familiar. It seemed like he was no stranger to him, probably seeing him often.
"Come on!" Jenny invited Aldric to come over to Theo.
"Theo, do you recognize him? This is Aldric, my friend in the village." Jenny immediately introduced Aldric to Theo.
When he heard his name, he finally remembered who he was. After all, there weren\'t many people\'s names he knew, so he rarely forgot.
"You see, his body is very solid and good, he\'s been training since childhood, so he knows a lot about weightlifting. I asked her to come over to teach you," the woman continued then asked, "you don\'t mind, do you, if she teaches you?"
Her voice as she asked was a bit low.
She was really worried that Theo had rejected Aldric as well.
If he turned down an old acquaintance to teach him, Jenny couldn\'t think of anyone else who could do it.
Theo looked at Aldric again after she finished speaking.
He seemed to be thinking, judging by his furrowed forehead.
Aldric rolled his eyes at Jenny seeing that. Even with him training him, he still seemed hesitant.
"How about we try it first," said Aldric, feeling he needed to take the initiative to speak up.
"What exercise?" asked Theo in response, which made Jenny\'s eyes light up as she didn\'t completely refuse.
"Over there!" Aldric pointed to the device for back training.
Many beginners might prefer other exercises to the back, but for the experienced Aldric, he considered the back an important part of the starting point. In fact, quite a few trainers gave him that advice.
However, when he saw the equipment, Theo suddenly shook his head.
"I don\'t like that exercise," he said.
Aldric was almost dumbfounded by that.
How could he dislike one of the exercises.
This made him wonder if his previous coaches were rejected because they taught him an exercise he didn\'t like.
After all, it is possible that those trainers also suggested to train the back first.
And maybe he didn\'t say that he didn\'t like back training to those trainers because he was a very quiet type.
He told him because they at least knew each other.
"Aldric, why don\'t you try something else?" Jenny spoke for her younger brother.
Aldric thought for a while, and finally pointed to the equipment for leg training.
"How about leg training?" he asked Theo.
It\'s the most grueling exercise, avoided by most people, but the movements tend to be easier.
Plus, it\'s very fast in boosting the body\'s metabolism.
Theo looked thoughtful as he stared at the equipment, and then nodded lightly.
"Okay!" He finally stood up, not resisting anymore.
Aldric invited him to walk over there while he followed behind him and Jenny followed beside him, looking rather nervous.
"Which one first?" Theo asked Aldric.
There were three leg trainers here, so he didn\'t know which one was first.
"This one first," Aldric replied, pointing to the one where he had to lift a barbell with his back and then move his legs up and down.
"No need for weights as this barbell is already heavy enough," he continued, lowering the weight plate on the barbell.
With Theo\'s skinny body, he was worried that with just the barbell without the weight plate, he would have trouble lifting it, let alone with the weight plate, his bones would break.
Theo didn\'t seem to mind, he walked over to the barbell. However, then he looked at Jenny.
"Can you go, I don\'t want you to see," he said.
