My CEO Husband Has Some Issues

Chapter 273: 273: Playing Games Live

Chapter 273: 273: Playing Games Live

“My heart is pretty good, I guess. I probably won’t be the type that needs emergency heart-saving pills,” Rong Yan said, her lips curling into a smile, even though she knew full well that once the news of her lawsuit against Shi Mufeng and Rong Weiwei got out, she would immediately face a huge tide of backlash.

That could mean trouble from Shi Mufeng, Rong Weiwei, HuanYu, or even the Rong Family.

Yet she was still able to face imminent danger without fear, calmly dealing with the pressure to come.

“That’s good,” Nick said. He appreciated her calm composure in the face of adversity. After a pause, he suddenly asked her, “Has west contacted you recently?”

west.

His question came out of the blue, and it took Rong Yan a moment to realize who he was talking about.

west was just Lin Xinbei’s English name!

He sure was lazy.

Who simply adopts the ‘west’ from their name as their English name!

At least make it something like Tom Jason.

While she silently critiqued it, Rong Yan still quickly replied, “He called me a few days ago, what’s up?”

The person on the phone was silent for two seconds, seemingly enduring something before saying, “Nothing.”

His tone sounded as though they had had a fight. Rong Yan was just about to ask more when the person on the other end had already hung up.

She heard the rustling noise on the phone in resignation, set down the phone, thought for a bit, and sent Lin Xinbei a message informing him that Nick had asked about him on the phone. She also asked him what was going on between him and Nick.

After waiting for ages, there was still no reply.

Instead, Estelle messaged her to say that the first episode of the show had performed well. The production team had heard about her gaming skills, and they set up a live streaming event for her that evening, asking her to participate.

Rong Yan readily agreed.

When Li Shengxiao finished his meeting, it was already past seven in the evening.

They went to pick up Little Baby together and after having dinner at a restaurant, they headed home.

Since Rong Yan had promised Estelle to do the live stream, she immediately washed up, changed into home clothes, tied up her hair, and turned on her laptop.

“Mom, what are you doing?” Li Duidui asked curiously, seeing her rarely wearing glasses.

Rong Yan patted the space beside her and said with a smile, “Playing games. Come on, do you want to watch me play? Sit next to Mommy.”

“I do!” Li Duidui, having seen her play games before, immediately trotted over and took her place beside her.

Rong Yan adjusted the camera to ensure it wouldn’t capture Baby Rong and then comfortably switched it on to join the live streaming room provided by the production team.

There weren’t many people in the live room just yet.

The title of her stream was especially eye-catching.

The few comments in the chat immediately sprang to life.

[Here she is, Rong Yan is here.]

[Wow, seeing her in person, I’m so happy!]

[Why does it feel like there are so few people here? Why is the live room so empty?]

Rong Yan spotted the comments scrolling at the top of the screen and replied with a hearty laugh, “Because I’m not famous, hardly anyone knows me, so naturally there are fewer people. But it doesn’t affect my gaming, haha, do you guys want to watch?”

[She replied to me! Wow!!!!!!! A star replied to me!!!!!]

[Do you read the comments? You’re so approachable.]
