Chapter 452: 253 “The Complicated Scheme” and “Bane’s Return” (Subscribe Please)_1

“The strategy of the Wizard Realm might not be as simple as I’ve seen.”

Sitting cross-legged at the Array center of the Wizard Tower, Milton Cheney muttered to himself.

This time, after combining the memories from the True Body Simulation with those from the previous Reincarnation Simulation, Milton Cheney discovered some things he had not noticed before.

Previously, his vision was blurry because his understanding wasn’t sufficient.

But now it was different, having gone through this Reincarnation Simulation, Milton Cheney gained a deeper understanding of the future of the Wizard Realm.

After all, in the Reincarnation Simulation, he had watched the Wizard Realm’s destruction with his own eyes.

Milton Cheney was well aware of the underlying reasons.

However, after experiencing this True Body Simulation, Milton Cheney realized that things might not be so simple.

The goal of the World Consciousness Avatar of the Wizard Realm, seems to not be about letting the world be born?

After all, the World Consciousness Avatar behind the scenes in the Wizard Realm knew too much.

Whether it was the True Spirit Bodies of the True Spirit Realm, or the Realm Master of the Tide Realm, the World Consciousness Avatar of the Wizard Realm seemed to understand them all.

If that was the case, then that World Consciousness Avatar could not possibly be unaware that it was nearly impossible for the Wizard Realm to accomplish world birth.

So why did that World Consciousness Avatar still choose to do so?

There must be some reasons Milton Cheney could not see.

Milton Cheney hadn’t thought of this before because he believed the World Consciousness Avatar of the Wizard Realm didn’t know much.

But that wasn’t the case.

Indeed, the World Consciousness Avatar of the Wizard Realm knew much more than Milton Cheney could imagine.

With this thought, Milton Cheney slightly furrowed his brows.

There must be something he hadn’t considered.

In this moment, Milton Cheney’s thoughts raced through his mind, pondering all the possible factors.

After all, he was born in the Wizard Realm, and everything was closely related to him.

Without a doubt, Milton Cheney was immensely concerned about his own future.

“Mansour seemed to become a bit strange at the node when the Wizard Realm was about to be destroyed.”

After a moment, a sudden thought emerged in Milton Cheney’s mind.

In this True Body Simulation, Milton Cheney noticed some things he hadn’t before.

That was about Mansour, the only Level 8 Wizard of the Wizard Realm.

Mansour, as the Level 8 Wizard of the Wizard Realm, did not appear at the critical moment of the Wizard Realm’s destruction.

If Mansour became a Transcendent the moment he became a Level 8 Wizard, why then did Mansour take action during the Tide Realm’s first onslaught?

He could have simply left the Wizard Realm.

Why go to the trouble?

Milton Cheney pondered.

This was obviously abnormal.

Milton Cheney was no longer completely unfamiliar with Transcendents; after meeting and conversing with the Zero Realm Master during the Reincarnation Simulation, he became well acquainted with the concept of Transcendents.

As the Wizard Realm’s Transcendent, Mansour already transcended beyond the confines of the Wizard Realm.

If he had already transcended, then Mansour had no need to act at the first sign of the Tide Realm invasion.

After all, doing so would still involve considerable risk.

Moreover, Mansour acted only once and abandoned the effort mid-way; he did not act during later, more critical moments.

Could it be that the World Consciousness Avatar of the Wizard Realm planned for millions or even tens of millions of years just to delay the destruction of the Wizard Realm by a few hundred years?

Milton Cheney thought this was impossible.

After all, the World Consciousness Avatar of the Wizard Realm was definitely not a fool, certainly having reasons for his actions.

“Unless Mansour at the node when the Wizard Realm was about to be destroyed could no longer control his own body.”

Milton Cheney mused to himself.

Suddenly, he had a bold speculation.

This speculation, when combined with all the previous clues, was very likely as Milton Cheney had conjectured.

The conjecture was simple.

That is, the Mansour who had transcended the Wizard Realm and left it, might no longer be the real Mansour.

That Mansour could already be the World Consciousness Avatar of the Wizard Realm.

If so, it would explain why the World Consciousness Avatar of the Wizard Realm spent tens of millions of years on his plans.

Because he wasn’t planning the world’s birth at all for the Wizard Realm.

The world’s birth of the Wizard Realm was merely a decoy, an illusion on the surface.

The truth might be that the World Consciousness Avatar of the Wizard Realm was planning his own transcendence.

Think about it, the World Consciousness Avatar is not the World Consciousness of the Wizard.

How could he be so selfless?

As long as one is human, they will have selfish desires.

Even more so for a creature that has lived thousands of times longer than Milton Cheney.

So, Milton Cheney speculated that all the plans of the World Consciousness Avatar of the Wizard Realm were for himself.

As the World Consciousness Avatar of the Wizard Realm, he normally couldn’t leave the Wizard Realm.

Just like the Little World Realm Masters within the Tide Realm, who normally could not leave the Tide Realm.

But that is under normal circumstances; there are always exceptions.

Just like in the Tide Realm, if a Realm Master becomes a Transcendent, they can go anywhere in the vast World Sea, and even travel to other realms.

The same applies to the Wizard Realm.
