Chapter 199: Bloodline Merchant
"Can we do that too?" Rudra asked.
"It defends but you can try!" Seth said.
There was something unique about being aggressive and soft at the same time, that was people will respect you and also be wary of what you could do if they cross you. Above all that, if you showed you have something of value to give them they will come to you. Especially, in this dangerous place.
Seth\'s action was full of controversies but they knew now they can rely on him in dangerous situations.
The group went back to their hiding place as Seth imparts more Aura knowledge to them. Some even opened up to him and showed him some of their skills with the hope he can aid them to use aura on them.
"Now what is everyone\'s goal for the time being!" Zambia dragged back the true issue at hand.
It turned out that Seth wasn\'t the only one with the unfinished Class Quest. Others also have some weird quest that was imposed by their class.
"I\'m required to have a third bloodline before my Class evolved to Battle Beast, a race comparative to Dragons!" Fist said.
"I have acquired some powerful bloodlines but I already use them on some of my summonses!" Allen said.
"Yeah. Me too. There is this sanctuary that allows you to hunt beasts for their bloodline. But when I acquire one powerful, I was kicked out and banned from it before it disappeared" Zambia said.
Seth wanted to speak but he hesitated and kept silent.
"I want to acquire the blood of a virgin dragon!" Rena said and everyone looked at her strangely.
"Virgin?" Seth asked.
"Yeah. Well, it\'s complicated, but what it means was a young dragon that never has sex with any dragon." She explained more.
"I have come across dragon blood but I don\'t think it will work for you!" Seth said.
"Is he a young male?" She asked hopefully.
"Must it be male? But I did think he is young!"
"Show me!" She said.
Seth hesitate as he looked at the expectant faces of his new group before he sighed and brought out a red leaf roll and placed it on his palm. The leaf was unrolled and a drop of blood appeared inside.
It looked normal like any drop of blood. There was no pressure or anything, just like human or animal blood.
"I need to feel the pressure to know if it is what I need!" She said.
When a sliver of the red on it began to peel away, a portion of the true blood appeared and a wave of pressure spread before Seth closed it.
"You used the red liquid to coat it!?" Zero asked. "How potent is that liquid and is it the same as the one we visit in that place!"
"Very potent and I don\'t know. This one originates from Red Valley!" Seth twisted the truth of the red liquid.
"That\'s why you refused to enter the Blood Ancient!" Juma said and Seth nodded but his attention was on Rena.
"It\'s not young. It just moves to adulthood. Certainly, it has spread its genes!" She said dejectedly.
"That\'s worth a try. My remaining quest was to find a source of this sand!" Zambia said as he showed a white sand in a vial, "with it, I can replenish my time devices and also do other stuff. But this requires me to travel all over Gawee, which I\'m doing!"
People looked at each before they shook their heads, they know nothing of it. But strangely he stared at Seth, "Perhaps in your travels, you have come across something like it?" Zambia asked Seth specifically.
Seth smiled and shook his head, "Why asked me directly while I shook my head!"
"You are a traveller, and you seem to have some fun stuff with you!" Juma said.
"Everybody has fun stuff. I do have a source of beast bloodline but I don\'t know how to extract or even store it!" Seth said as he looked at Fist.
"What kind of bloodline!" Fist asked, he didn\'t get his hope up, as he had come across many that were useless to him.
Seth chuckled and kept silent, he was contemplating a problem. There was a stigma on him that he aided NPC murdered players but his actions later, the healing Dave say otherwise. Another thing was they wanted to believe he was not the murderer depicted.
The main problem was he has shown his interest in finding the people of that village now turned nomadic, what if they think that he wants to kill them or something and plot against him?
"It has the title of pride in its name!" Seth said at last.
"How much do you want?" Fist asked hastily.
"How much?" Seth asked
"Yes. 1 to 10 million unions I can afford!" Fist added.
A shock was written on Seth\'s face. \'10 million unions? Is that for real or is he playing with me!\'
"If you have more I\'m buying!" James another silent player said. And Seth looked at him with shock too
"Name your price, no matter how much."
"Hahaha!" Seth laughed and slammed his thigh, "you guys are bluffing right?"
"Bluffing?" Fist asked seriously, "do you think we will bluff about these things?"
"Maybe you don\'t have it. That why think the value is outrageous?" James said, "my mother died in this game and whenever I logged out I can\'t even remember she died here because what happened was that after she exited, she behaved partially normally but then she mistakenly put her hand in the electric wire.
It shouldn\'t even be potent enough to shake her hand but her heart stopped and then that it!" The player said.
"The knowledge of her death in Lightning Valley will be always erased when I was in the real world and when I came back it returned like an avalanche!" James added with an icy look.
Seth sighed with grimaces before he said, "Do not glance at the moon, do not visit questionable sanctuaries, don\'t trust lone NPCs, don\'t trust mountains that are in too many clusters and those that are alone. Don\'t go where abhorrent monsters are absent, especially places you know they should be!"
These were his summarized experiences.
"I do have battle beast bloodlines. But the thing was you said Union. How the hell are we going to exchange money in-game? But that is not even the main problem, I don\'t have an extractor or even storage for that!"
"Hey, people can exchange money now!" Rena said.
"Really?" Seth asked.
"Are an NPC or what. There are two ways. Don\'t you watch new functions and news in your cabin? What kind of cabin are you using?" James asked.
"Ahh, Rank 5 Cabin and… I was trapped here for months, so I didn\'t know what was the news lately!"
"But people can now log out even under Gawee pressure…." Zero wasn\'t convinced but he became silent after he saw eyes on him.
"Well, it is what it is. What are the ways for the exchange?" Seth said.
He was then educated that those with Bronze Cabin can use their office space to communicate and exchange games and real resources through it. The good news was that others that didn\'t have the cabin can also use another Bronze Cabin.
The second way was, they can make an exchange now with a special gold and convert that gold into numbers which can be used to input into a special computer in the real world, that will automatically credit the account.
"Well, that was very convenient. What about the place to store the bloodline?" Seth asked. That is when eyes went to Fist. He was the one that said he came from a place that utilizes bloodlines a lot. So he must know something like that.
"I have containers, but I don\'t know how we are going to do it. It\'s very valuable!" He was now very sceptical.
"I will buy that. How much?" James said. He was more serious than Fist because he knew only strength can keep him alive and he needed that at all costs.
"I have three vials. Two once contained my bloodline, and the last one was for the third one. It has a Dragonclaw bloodline but I sold it because it has scales which I didn\'t need!" He said, "the vials are more valuable than my bloodline that\'s what I\'m saying."
"50,000union for one!" James said. Fist hesitate and nodded in agreement. The two brought out their asteroid weapon and touched each other, that\'s all.
"Is that it?" Seth asked and they nodded. "There might be some logistics but in about a week, I will get the money." Fist confirmed.
