I'm the Owner of the Pokémon Day Care In the World of Pokémon

Chapter 690: Patrol

Chapter 690: Patrol

Since the Fire-type Pokémon had moved away, the number of Quadrupedal Pokémon in the grassland Sub-Ecopark had dwindled. Among them, the Pachirisu Clan, the Tauros Clan, and the Miltank Clan all had their own leaders and didn\'t need other Pokémon to manage them. Their own leaders had plenty of experience in management.

There were also some Pokémon that couldn\'t be classified as Quadrupedal.

Pokémon like Deino and Kabutops usually had Miltank taking care of them. The Swampert and Lombre were also well-behaved, so there was no need to worry about them.

The ones that needed management and could be categorized as Quadrupedal were actually not many.

This included Persian and his three wives (Delcatty), the Purrloin family (Purrloin, Liepard, Zorua, Zoroark), and four flaaffy.

The four Flaaffy, aside from leisurely grazing, weren\'t interested in anything else, and their lifestyle was very similar to the two Gogoat in the Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark.

Among them, only Persian and the Purrloin family were known for causing trouble.

Temporarily entrusting Linoone to manage them shouldn\'t be a problem this time.

In the world of Pokémon, strength was highly respected. As one of the earliest Pokémon to arrive at the Ecopark, Linoone\'s strength was unquestionable.

Aside from the big shots who were already Elite or pseudo-Elite, Linoone, Honchkrow Leader, Swallow Leader, Ninetales Leader, and Houndoom Leader were all among the top in terms of strength within the Ecopark.

Among them, Honchkrow Leader and Ninetales Leader were the strongest.

This wasn\'t just because of their outstanding potential and hard work; Yuga also gave them special attention. As one of the earliest Pokémon to follow him, Yuga had deep feelings for them and was willing to invest in them. He always tried to provide them with various resources.

Actually, the potential of Swallow, Linoone, and Houndoom were not outstanding in Yuga\'s Ecopark. They were average, to say the least. However, Yuga was willing to spare no effort, and their strength grew rapidly.

Of course, their own efforts couldn\'t be ignored.

Especially Linoone.

The reason it lived with Mightyena at the Shallow Seashore Sub-Ecopark was to spar with the combat-loving Greninja.

Before following Yuga, Linoone was just a yellow potential Pokémon. With Yuga\'s help, its potential improved, and it deeply understood that its current opportunities were hard to come by. Therefore, it worked harder than ordinary Pokémon.

After discussing with Yuga, Linoone readily agreed to Yuga\'s request and moved with Mightyena to the grassland Sub-Ecopark.

However, Linoone and Mightyena were responsible for patrolling around the Pokémon Day Care and the Gym. Linoone was a bit worried that it might not be able to handle the additional responsibilities.

But in the end, Yuga gave it a great suggestion.

During patrols, they could take Persian and the Purrloin family with them.

After all, didn\'t they enjoy causing trouble? They could assign them some work to keep them from getting bored (though they were always covered in fur).

However, for Ourrloin\'s mother, Zoroark, and sister, Zorua, Yuga decided to exempt them from this duty due to their identities, which could easily lead to trouble. Even though they had the ability to transform, the risks of exposure were still significant.

But Purrloin and his dad, Liepard, had no way to escape.

When Yuga notified Purrloin and Persian of this news, their expressions were very unsightly. Still, they didn\'t dare to disobey Yuga\'s orders.

There was no choice. After all, they were now making a living under someone else\'s house. At this point, having them experience life as wild Pokémon again wasn\'t an option.

Wild Pokémon might be free, but their current lives were much more enjoyable.

Especially for Purrloin and Liepard.

Because of their mother (wife) and sister (youngest daughter), they had had enough of days filled with constant anxiety in the past.

Even though Purrloin and his father, Liepard, had somewhat rough personalities, they still had a basic sense of gratitude. So, even if they were unwilling, they would follow Yuga\'s orders.

From then on, a new patrol team was born in the YoYo Day Care.

In the air, Great Flygon occasionally led a few Flygon on patrol.

In the shadows, Psychic-type Natus were monitoring.

On the ground, Linoone and Mightyena couple, along with Purrloin, Liepard, Persian, and the three Delcatty, strolled through the streets and alleys.

Purrloin and Persian had thought about playing some tricks during the patrol, but they were suppressed by Linoone and Mightyena.

They couldn\'t beat Linoone, nor could they beat its wife, Mightyena.

Gradually, Purrloin and Persian accepted their fate and obediently followed Linoone and his wife as they roamed the streets.

Surprisingly, as cat-type Pokémon, whether it was Purrloin, Liepard, Persian, or the Delcatty, they were all agile and light-footed Pokémon. They moved silently and were very skilled at "walking on roofs and walls," making them well-suited for patrol and surveillance work.

The residents living near the YoYo Day Care and the Verdanturf Gym later found that there were often cat-like Pokémon wandering around their yard walls, rooftops, and front yards.

Gradually, they learned that these were Pokémon from the YoYo Day Care on patrol.

The security in the vicinity improved considerably.

Once, a resident\'s house was broken into by a thief and was seen by Purrloin, who happened to pass by. Without a word, Purrloin pounced on the thief, scratching his face so badly that it was a gruesome sight.

However, even though Purrloin looked fierce, the nearby residents weren\'t afraid of it.

To thank these little guardians, they occasionally fed them some food.

However, these Pokémon were quite aloof and paid no attention to the food, being very alert.

This was all thanks to Linoone and Mightyena\'s excellent guidance. They had instilled the idea that outside food should not be consumed, no matter who provided it.

Purrloin, Liepard, and Persian were all former wandering Pokémon. Linoone was afraid that they might be tempted by food and unable to move, so he specifically strengthened their training in this aspect.

The news of YoYo Day Care using cat-type Pokémon for patrols even reached the ears of Liliana. Inspired by this, Liliana also recruited a Persian.

As a police officer, Liliana deeply understood that in some situations, agile cat-type Pokémon were more useful than bulky dog-type Pokémon.

Liliana\'s Arcanine and Herdier\'s and it\'s final evolution form, Stoutland, were both typical large dog-type Pokémon.

With Purrloin and Persian having jobs, the grassland Sub-Ecopark finally returned to tranquility.
