Level Up in Martial World

Chapter 100: Terrifying Talent

She slashed her katana again, and with a "swoosh" sound, the katana sliced through the air with a smoother flow, feeling more natural, as if her katana was tearing through the air.

"My familiarity with the katana has increased by a lot. I should be able to reach the first level soon," Lily thought. However, she had a frown on her face.

"Wasn\'t becoming a martial artist very hard?" However, when she thought about how Lu Zhen quickly became a martial artist and reached the Third stage in a month, she felt that she still lacked talent as Lily continued to practise.

"Since Young Master was able to reach it in such a short time, my talent is still not enough. I must practise harder," Lily thought as her grip on the katana tightened.

However, if the world knew that a girl who had just started practising martial arts was close to becoming a martial trainee in just moments, an undeniable shock would come to them, and they would feel their lives were wasted.

After all, no matter how heaven-defying the cultivation technique was, it always depended on the martial practitioners themselves.

It was like giving a child a calculus book and telling them to read it. The child would undoubtedly not understand a single number and would give up. That was also true here in this world.

There were no shortcuts in this world!

So, Lily achieving such feats was an indescribable shock. After all, most people practised their whole lives, dedicating themselves to martial arts. However, in the end, they wouldn\'t even be able to reach the level of a martial trainee, even if they had the rich resources to cultivate.

"Let\'s cook dinner for Young Master now before starting to train again," Lily sang happily as she made her way to the kitchen.

Since Lu Zhen had previously forbidden himself from meeting with other women, she was the only one allowed to stay in Lu Zhen\'s palace. Except for her, the other servants were mostly in the kitchen to help her prepare food and occasionally to help her clean the palace to keep it spotless.

The guards mostly stayed outside, with a very low number, but they were all at the martial trainee level in their cultivation.

Meanwhile, in the room, another scream echoed as Lu Zhi fainted on the floor.

Lu Zhen looked at the tattoo with a satisfied expression.

"You can get up now," Lu Zhen said as he manipulated the string intricately. The moment he did, Lu Zhi, as if controlled by a puppet attached to a string, stood up.

"Huh..." Lu Zhi\'s eyes awakened as if by magic.

"Hmm..." Lu Zhen went into deep contemplation as he had experimented with everything the mark could do except for one crucial thing: the distance over which it could operate.

"Lu Zhi."

"Yes, Master." Lu Zhi immediately bowed respectfully.

"How interesting. You are a smart guy. Don\'t worry; I won\'t restrict your freedom or anything, and you will still be my servant. I won\'t kill you."

"However, don\'t call me \'Master\'; just call me \'Young Master.\'" Lu Zhen had no interest in being called master as long as they did their job he had no interest in what they think.

"Thank you, Young Master."

"Remember, if your sister has any thoughts about—" Suddenly, Lu Zhi felt a chill down his spine. He hurriedly nodded his head.

Lu Zhen patted Lu Zhi\'s back with a satisfied expression.

"Now, the last experiment: get as far away from me as you can." He waved his hand, and a small whirlwind generated, which opened the door.

Since he has fully mastered the combat art he could control the intensity and the direction of the whirlwind and could even cancel it in thin air. The skill has become quite practical for Lu Zhen.

Lu Zhi nodded with full submission as he left the room.

"Ho, he still has some other thoughts in his head, huh..." Lu Zhen looked amusedly at Lu Zhi, who was clearly walking away.

"Hmm, now I have to deal with you." He looked at Li Nan, who had dark circles under her eyes.

"So, why did that old man send you to spy on me?" Lu Zhen asked as he casually sat.

Li Nan remained silent, closing her eyes.

Seeing this, Lu Zhen frowned.

"You know what I could do with this already, right? After all, you\'ve already experienced it firsthand," he casually remarked.

"The old master has some resentment for you," Li Nan hurriedly said with a hoarse voice.

"Huh, why does he have resentment towards me?" Lu Zhen had a confused expression.

"The thing is, Lu Ying, your mother, has never given the old man any attention after you were born. However, seeing that you were born as a waste with no interest in martial arts, he took pity and didn\'t try anything on you. But seeing your recent martial arts achievements..."

Lu Zhen suddenly interrupted her.

"How do you know?"

Li Nan sneered.

"We are the personal guards of the old master; how wouldn\'t I know? It\'s no secret among our guard group."

Lu Zhen fell into deep contemplation as he absorbed this information.

"Then, what were your instructions given by the old man?"

Li Nan hesitated for a moment before reluctantly speaking.

"I was instructed to spy on you only. I was not allowed to take any action and to try to seduce you if possible."

"How interesting," Lu Zhen chuckled upon hearing this.

"I didn\'t expect the old man to be so..." However, Lu Zhen didn\'t have any way to deal with the old man, and he hadn\'t targeted his life yet. Although the spy might not have harmful intentions, hearing Li Nan\'s admission removed that possibility.

"Now, you will be working for me. You will provide me with the information I want," Lu Zhen declared, his eyes glinting with a strange determination.

Li nan\'s eyes widened when she heard Lu Zhen.

Since the old Man planted a spy on Lu Zhen he will use that to his advantage.
