Chapter 117: Ha Joon Pendragon.

There was a huge golden glow at the side of Artoria, where the original Excalibur had appeared, its light growing even brighter as if trying to consume the fake.

\'The blade is fighting… trying to keep the contract from breaking, quite the blade, isn\'t it? But it doesn\'t stand a chance against my duplicate, go on, keep going Artoria!\'

It took a couple of minutes, but finally, the blade conceded. The fake Excalibur glowed even brighter and was able to consume the original, blinding the sight of both Ha Joon and Artoria.

The light dimmed.

"It worked?" Ha Joon asked out loud.

Clink –!

The original Excalibur fell to the ground, losing all its properties and energy, while the fake remained in Artoria\'s grasp, still shimmering with life.

"I can\'t believe… it worked." Artoria also blurted out, her surprise evident on her face as she stared at the sword, still trying to let the fact Ha Joon\'s fake Excalibur was stronger than the original sink in.

A smile formed on Ha Joon\'s face, "It worked didn\'t it? Didn\'t it?" He asked as he moved closer, rubbing his hands together.

"Yeah, I think the contract was formed, I felt it, hard to explain… that said, this blade feels no different from Excalibur–" Artoria slashed it to the side, "amazing".

\'I did it.\'

Despite the system\'s announcements, Ha Joon wasn\'t listening. His mind fixated on one thought:

The curse has been broken.

The chains that had bound him since arriving in Camelot had finally been shattered.

"Ha Joon, I…" Artoria began, her expression shifting to one of concern. "I don\'t know how to explain this, but I never thought this was possible. Even the Church might—"

Her words were abruptly cut off as Ha Joon pulled her into a kiss.

Artoria\'s eyes widened, her face flushing red as the unexpected kiss took her completely off guard.

She stumbled backward, Ha Joon still locked onto her lips until she fell onto the bed beneath him.

His hands pinned her arms down as he deepened the kiss, his tongue exploring her mouth with a confidence she didn\'t know how to respond to.

It was her first kiss, and Artoria felt an unfamiliar panic rise within her. But she didn\'t resist. The fear of Excalibur\'s contract failing again dissolved into something else, and she allowed Ha Joon to continue.

The sound of their lips pressing together filled the room for a while before Ha Joon finally pulled away, his eyes searching hers.

"How was that?" he asked, gently brushing the strands of hair away from her face.

Artoria\'s gaze flickered downward. "I\'ve… never been kissed before," she admitted, her voice barely audible.

"Go on," Ha Joon encouraged, a smirk playing on his lips.

"I think... I want more," she confessed, her cheeks burning with embarrassment, unable to meet his eyes.

Ha Joon was momentarily surprised, but his smile widened. "Oh you naughty king, I didn\'t know you were like that ~?" he teased, his tone playful.

"L-like what?! Y- you were the one that kissed me from nowhere!" She retorted.

"I did, didn\'t I? You could have just been like, Eyaaaaaaaaaa~ and then slapped me…" Ha Joon pulled his face even closer, "But no, you just couldn\'t resist being kissed".

Artoria was quiet for a while.

She then wrapped her arms over his shoulder, and pulled him towards her, letting their foreheads touch.

"I told you before… I really do want to kiss you."

Ha Joon smiled a bit, "The king has finally decided to spread her wings".

"Just kiss me already~"

"As you wish… Milady."

Their lips, locked into another.

The day of the wedding ceremony had finally arrived. The moment everyone in Camelot, far and wide, has been anticipating for weeks.

Posters of Prime Minister Ha Joon Kim and Her Highness Artoria Pendragon adorned every corner of the kingdom. The royal families of Camelot and neighboring lands gathered in splendor.

Dragons soared through the sky as the triumphant sound of Camelot\'s trumpets echoed across the land.

Huge screens had been erected throughout the capital, showing Ha Joon and Artoria standing at the altar, both regal and composed. Merlin stood behind Artoria, and Tristan behind Ha Joon, the two witnesses to their union.

Facing each other, the couple spoke their vows.

"I, Artoria Pendragon, take you, Ha Joon Kim, to be my wedded husband," Artoria whispered, her voice soft but steady beneath the silver veil that concealed her face. "To have and to hold, for better or worse, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part."

The nun then turned to Ha Joon, who stood tall in a sleek black tuxedo.

"I, Ha Joon Kim, take you, Artoria Pendragon, as my wife and pledge to uphold the name of Pendragon alongside you," he declared, his voice clear and resolute. "To cherish and protect our union in all things."

"The newlyweds may now seal their vows with a kiss," the nun announced.

And so they did. Their lips met in a tender kiss as cheers erupted from the crowd, the sound of celebration filling the air as music played and the festivities began.

Dancing, feasting, and joyous revelry continued for hours, but the main event was yet to come.

The coronation of Ha Joon Pendragon.

He was standing on the tall platform, a nun on one side, and another cleric on the other.

After signing papers with his blood and making oaths upon oath for a long period of time.

The time finally came, and in front of thousands of people watching, the man who had once walked into Camelot as a mere guest, was now the newly crowned King of Camelot.
