Chapter 159 Diplomatic Approach ?
Vincent observed the imposing mansion from the confines of his car, his keen eyes scanning the surroundings. The dark night made the atmosphere more intense. He could sense the presence of werewolves among the armed guards, but their strength was no match for his own.
In fact he was sure that he could take out everyone here alone , but he wanted to be more diplomatic about it by showing his own group and forcing them to give back Nathalie without bloodshed . So a convoy of five sleek black Porsche sedan filled with both vampires and hunters waited behind him, serving as an intimidating backdrop to his negotiations.
"We\'ve received intel suggesting that Nathan was last seen entering this mansion, but pinpointing his exact location inside has been proven quite challenging," explained the vampire representative. He spoke firmly, with his radiant blonde hair and chiseled jawline adding to his handsome appearance. However, compared to Vincent\'s unparalleled charisma, his charm seemed somewhat lackluster.
"I understand," Vincent nodded, fully grasping the gravity of the situation. He recognized the urgent need to locate his friend as quickly as possible. In regards to Nathan\'s safety for the moment, he remained confident that he was still alive. Evangeline had taught him a clever technique called marking, which he had already secretly utilized to mark all those close to him.
This mark granted him a faint sense of their presence when they were in proximity. Fortunately, he could still perceive Nathan\'s presence. It appeared that the Red Fang Group had not yet made any plans to harm either of the Wayne siblings.
Suddenly, three cars swiftly passed by them, their engines roaring as they sped along the road.
"Those cars?" he asked.
The vampire representative swiftly turn on his earpiece and engaged in a brief conversation with his scouts to ascertain the identity of the three passing vehicles. The Red Fang Mansion, after all, was situated in an exceedingly secluded location. After a few seconds, he received the information.
"Master Vincent," the assistant began speaking "those cars belong to none other than the Wayne Family."
"Mr. Jonathan ?" He took a moment to assess the situation, his mind working swiftly to make sense of the unfolding events.
"Follow them," he ordered.
The vampire representative nodded, and their cars fell in line behind the Wayne Family\'s vehicles. Tension filled the air as they trailed the convoy, their eyes fixed on the upcoming encounter.
Inside the Wayne Family\'s car, Jonathan, accompanied by his head of security, Joe, became aware of the multiple cars tailing them.
"Mr . Jonathan, we have some people following us," Joe remarked, his tone laced with concern.
Jonathan glanced at the rearview mirror, noticing the presence of multiple vehicles.
"Could it be the Red Fangs?" he pondered aloud.
"I don\'t know , but we should just proceed with caution," Though uncertainty hung in the air, Joe urged his boss to press forward. With determination etched on their faces, they continued their advance until they reached the towering gates of the imposing mansion. Their arrival instantly sparked a heightened sense of alertness among the Red fang guards stationed within the premises.
Speculations spread among them as they noticed the approaching convoys. Some wondered if the Wayne Family intended to engage in a confrontation by seeing the number of cars outside.
"Are they seriously planning to wage war against us?" one guard speculated.
"Don\'t be foolish. This place is swarming with werewolves. They must have brought a a lot of bodyguards for their own protection," another guard dismissed.
"You\'re absolutely right. Even the government has to think twice before trying to take us on," one of them sneered with a contemptuous tone.
As the cars came to a halt, four Red Fang guards approached them, their rifles at the ready.
"Why did you bring too many men ?" With an air of suspicion, the guards questioned the reasoning behind bringing such a substantial group to their doorstep. Their inquiries sought to uncover the purpose and intentions of Jonathan and his companions.
"What do you mean ? They\'re not yours ?" Jonathan, confused by their question, thought the Red Fangs were referring to the cars following them, assuming they were part of the gang.
Suddenly, the car doors behind Jonathan\'s vehicles swung open in unison, revealing a group of individuals clad in black jackets. The atmosphere instantly shifted, a palpable aura of death enveloping the area as their eyes turned a sinister shade of black and red.
Inside the mansion ground, the Beta\'s , sensing the disturbance, swiftly converged upon the gate, their protective instincts fully awakened. Their muscles tensed, ready to defend their territory, and they all stood ready to transform at a moment\'s notice.
Amidst the chaos, a tall man stepped forward, his husked voice laced with suspicion.
"What brings you here, vampires?" he demanded, his gaze intense, as he sought to discern the true intentions of these unexpected newcomers.
Taking a step forward, the representative from the Vampire Factions emerged from the group, his presence commanding attention amidst the escalating tension. With a composed demeanor, he addressed the werewolf and the bewildered Red Fang guards, his voice carrying a measured tone.
"Our Master wishes to meet with your boss," the representative of the vampires spoke with unwavering authority.
"Master? Which gang do you belong to?" the perplexed man inquired.
"You have no authority to question us. If you refuse to grant us entry, we will simply force our way in," the vampire representative sneered, a hint of arrogance coloring his words. Rumors of Vincent\'s strength had reached his ears, piquing his curiosity and fueling his desire to witness his Master\'s ability firsthand .
"You dare ..." The tall man gritted his teeth in anger.
Tensions reached a boiling point as the atmosphere crackled with an impending clash between the vampires and the werewolves. The normal guards hesitated, assessing the situation and the potential consequences of denying the vampires entry.
"Don\'t be an idiot and just let us in !" The vampire representative taunted.
"You damn vampires, acting all high and mighty," The tall man\'s patience snapped, his frustration boiling over at the vampires\' haughty demeanor. He growled menacingly, his anger fueling his transformation. Muscles bulged beneath his skin, his form shifting as fur erupted to cover his body.
"GRRRRRRR" His growls echoed, blending with the tense atmosphere of the place.
His intent was to intimidate the vampires and scare them away, but he had no intention of attacking first.
Before he could scare them away, however, a figure emerged from the car, drawing everyone\'s attention. The mysterious individual wore an expensive-looking black-silver jacket, adorned with an enigmatic white and black mask that concealed his face.
"Leave this to me," the figure declared, his voice confident and commanding. The vampire representative happily stepped back, allowing the masked individual to take the lead.
"Come." Vincent raised his hand, taunting the werewolf before him.
"GRRRRRRRR!" Consumed by an overwhelming surge of rage, the werewolf\'s primal instincts took hold, overpowering his ability to control his heightened emotions. With a feral roar that pierced the air, he lunged forward, propelled by sheer fury and an insatiable desire to confront his enemy.
"Idiot," Vincent muttered under his breath, a hint of disdain tainting his nonchalant expression. Unfazed by the werewolf\'s charging assault, he calmly adjusted his stance, drawing inspiration from a kung fu movie he had once watched.
Then he calmly closed his fist and lightly pushed it forward, directing his one-inch punch exactly at the charging werewolf.
BOOOOOOM!
What followed was utterly unexpected. The force of his seemingly effortless punch sent the werewolf hurtling through the air, his entire body propelled backward by the impact.
The devastating one-inch punch struck the werewolf with an overwhelming force. The sheer power behind the blow left no part of the werewolf\'s body unscathed. The force of the punch had inflicted such severe damage that it was a miracle the werewolf remained intact at all. Blood seeped from his mangled body, staining the surrounding area with his own blood.
"What the hell happened ?"
The whole place fell into an eerie silence, they were stunned by the brutal display of power. That particular werewolf was revered as one of their most formidable Betas, known for his strength and skill.
Yet, as the masked man stood before them, a sense of impending doom settled in the air. With a swift and simple motion, he effortlessly dispatched his enemy, reducing him to naught but an inconsequential obstacle.
Vincent himself stood amidst the aftermath, his expression unreadable behind the mask. The raw energy of his punch had made it abundantly clear that he was not to be trifled with. The Red Fangs, once confident and cocky, now regarded him with fear.
The realization of his immense power had sent shockwaves through them, effectively quelling any further aggression. The remaining werewolves, their earlier bravado shattered, hesitated to make any rash moves against the vampires. Vincent had proven himself to be a force of nature, capable of wreaking unimaginable havoc with a single strike.
On the other hand , Jonathan had realized that his family was not alone in their fight against this criminal organization, as he observed the stunned and fearful expressions on the faces of the Red Fang members.
With newfound hope, he took a step forward, his voice resonating with both strength and humility.
"I am Jonathan Wayne," he declared, his words laced with respect. He bowed his head earnestly, acknowledging the overwhelming power of the masked man before him.
"Please, I beg you, please help me in rescuing my son and daughter from the clutches of this organization. Their lives is in danger, and I am desperate for their safe return."
