The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 206 - 206 Warmth <2>

Kate did think that way, but she didn’t want to stay with her parents without returning to her original body. If she stayed with them as a little kid, there would be more troubles with how to explain that she changed this way.

And how should her parents introduce her to others if they were to meet other people?

It would be better for her to stay with Kyle for the time being.

Even if the blood contract made her feel somewhat uncomfortable, she should be able to adapt to it in a few days’ time.

Slowly, Kate shook her head.

“Meow.” <No. I don’t want to bring them trouble before return my adult form>

“Do you not think that you’ll be troubling me, then?” Kyle chuckled.

“Meow.” <Technically, Little Kitty is your cat, right? Would there be any trouble if cat were to follow you?>

.....

Kate looked at Kyle innocently and he sighed deeply. This little cat is indeed getting smarter and smarter, returning to the state of how a university student should have been. Well, he was not that surprised and only hoped that she could return to her adult form soon.

“Rest well for tonight. You don’t have to worry about treating me differently just because of the blood contract. I have given my promise to you before that I’ll treat you well and it’ll not change.” Kyle caressed Kate’s head tenderly with his finger.

Kate didn’t answer and enjoyed his touch. That was what Kyle said to her not long ago and Kate could hear his sincerity.

She meowed in response and then lowered her head.

Kyle smiled faintly before pulling his own blanket to sleep. It has been quite the journey for him too.

The night passed quietly.

Kate didn’t think that there will be anything strange for the night. When she woke up, she found Kyle was still looking at her. Just as she was about to ask what was wrong, she heard his voice.

<You’re up, Kate?>

Huh?

Kate looked at Kyle, who hadn’t opened his mouth in the slightest bit and then at the voice inside her mind. She began to think that there might be something wrong when she heard his voice again.

<Can you hear me, Kate?>

<I.. Uh, I can hear you?>

Kate was stunned when she realized that she also didn’t meow like usual. Looking at Kyle who was smiling in front of her, she came to a terrifying conjecture that the blood contract was not only tying their abilities but also allowed them to have secret communication?

What kind of contract is this?

<I thought that I can’t communicate with you through our mind when you’re staring blankly like that. Come here, Kate>

Kyle stretched his hand and Kate hesitated a bit before jumping to Kyle’s arm. He embraced her tenderly, caressing her back gently to make sure that she will be fine inside his arm.

<When did you realize it possible?>

<I don’t know. I just want to try.> Kyle chuckled.

In fact, he wanted to know whether they could communicate secretly or not because he felt that being able to communicate directly with her should be more fun. And it was then he decided to try.

They couldn’t read reach other’s mind, but it seemed that if he willed it, it was not impossible for him to communicate directly within his mind with this little girl.

It was a novel feeling.

And also very interesting.

<You’re amazing…>

No wonder that Kyle could become a researcher. Just his mind to be able to try something new and implement it was more than enough for him to find something new. This blood contract is something new, but Kate was sure that after Kyle was done experimenting, the knowledge will be passed out and many people will understand the use of this blood contract better.

Though, she was a bit more curious about whether it would be possible for pets to stay docile while there were countless mad giant mutated animals outside. She hoped that they would stay this way, though.

<It’s nothing much.> Kyle didn’t really think that it was anything great. He sat up while still carrying Kate.

<Where are we going?>

<Bathroom >

After finding out that they could communicate directly inside their mind, Kyle became lazy to speak out. In the first place, he was not the type of person who liked to speak a lot if it was unnecessary. While he was not as extreme as Dylan, he didn’t really joke around a lot like Jake.

Of course, he would still speak what was needed when it was necessary.

<Brush teeth?>

<You should brush your teeth every day. Don’t be lazy.>

<Uhh… >

After being a cat, Kate had to admit that she was a bit lazy to brush her teeth. Just as she showed her doe look to Kyle, he flicked her forehead with his finger.

Thwack!

“Meow!” <That hurts!>

<Don’t be naughty and brush your teeth properly. Even if you’re a cat, you still need to take care of don’t want hurt>

Kate looked at the brushes that Kyle prepared for her and sighed deeply. With a poof, she turned into a little kid and took the toothbrush, brushing her teeth. She raised her head and looked at the mirror, watching Kyle brushing his teeth beside her.

Would they continue to stay in this kind of lifestyle forever?

Kate thought to herself but finally didn’t ask that question out loud. She simply finished brushing her teeth and then walked out of the bathroom before turning back into a kid again.

<Don’t run around>

<I’m not a little kid>

Kate wagged her tail and walked to the door. It was then she remembered that Kyle was the one who hold the room card, so she waited there patiently.

Kyle finished brushing his teeth. He actually wanted to take a bath too, but seeing the little cat was already impatient, he sighed. “Where do you want to go, Kate?”
