The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 198 - 198 Blood Contract <2>

The blood contract was truly a magical thing and Kyle could clearly feel the deep connection between him and the little cat, no the young woman in front of him. It was as if there was something that pulled the two of them together and didn’t allow the bond to be broken.

Kyle took a deep breath and began to sense the unfamiliar three different type of powers from Kate.

Space element.

Healing element.

and transformation element.

‘So it’s really three elements.’

Kyle extended his hand and used the healing element towards Kate. At this moment, Kate felt as if she was being invigorated and the exhausted mental strength was getting better.

She looked at Kate and blinked her eyes.

.....

“Meow.” <How do you feel?>

“I’m fine. I think that my mental ability is higher than you.” Kyle smiled reassuringly. He himself had illusion element as he had tried to use it against that rank 7 giant mutated rat before. However, the illusion was not working so well and only made the rank 7 giant mutated rat irritated.

It seemed that he had to figure out a way to improve his rank one way or another in the future.

But at the very least, it was enough for the time being.

He’s just glad that everything ended well.

“Meow.” <I see>

Kate felt somewhat happy.

Kyle also smiled when he felt the cat being so happy and realized that the so called emotion sharing was actually stronger than his expectation. It was impossible for him not to notice when he could sense that her own emotion is affecting him.

Still, he felt happy.

Mobilizing the space element, Kyle protected his leg and pulled it away from the falling rocks. This way, he would not be trapped here while still in pain. After that, Kyle healed his broken leg and felt a bit astonished as he controlled it to heal himself faster.

The healing ability was truly worthy of being revered.

Even though he could only use the two elements, space and healing, at rank 5, he could sense that they were indeed very powerful.

“We’ll need to wait for others to dig us out.” Kyle took out the gems that Lica gave before. “Take the space and healing gem first, Kate.”

“Meow.” <Ok >

Being able to fully communicate even in this form made Kate somewhat excited. She then took the two gems and allowed it to merge with her blood. After that, she felt sleepiness kicked in and laid motionlessly within Kyle’s arm.

Kyle watched Kate fell asleep and made sure that she’s fine through their blood contract. He heaved a sigh of relief.

When they had no contract, he had no way of determining Kate’s current condition, so he couldn’t allow her to sleep. But now that she had already formed the contract with him, their lives were basically bound, so he would know if anything happen to the little girl.

She will be fine.

Time passed quietly.

Kate didn’t sleep for a long time this time. She looked at Kyle and then at the rocks around them.

“Meow?” <They’re taking their time to reach here.>

“It seems that the space fluctuation caused by your space barrier had caused them to be unable to detect this area properly.” Kyle laughed. He was holding several red and purple crystals in his hand that he was using to recover his strength.

“Meow.” <It actually had such an effect?>

Kate felt somewhat strange, but she didn’t think too much about it. Even if there were some fluctuation in the space, it would not affect her that much as long as she didn’t overdo it in the future.

This time must be because she used the space element so many times.

“What’s your current rank?” Kyle asked.

“Meow.” <Space 4 5 6 element is rank with minor advancements while healing>

She’s technically just one step away from reaching rank 7 and literally reaching the highest rank available. But after looking at these rank 7 giant mutated animals, Kate felt that reaching rank 7 would not be that simple.

At the very least, it would not be as simple as the previous ranks.

There might be some other conditions that would allow her to grow stronger so much that the rank 7 giant mutated animals could even overpower the two of them. Mind you, the two of them were already at rank 6, but their attack nearly didn’t have any effect on the rank 7 giant mutated animals.

“Kate is really good.” Kyle chuckled and patted Kate’s head. “The others will surely find out that we’ve formed a blood contract. Do you mind telling them?”

“Meow?” <Do they know that I’m a human?>

Kyle was silent for a while. “Lucy and Dylan know. The others didn’t know.”

Kate nodded. Lucy naturally knew because she was the one who told them, but Dylan actually also know? It seemed that the people around Kyle were actually quite sharp.

“Meow.” <It’s fine. There’s no point in hiding about this matter too anyway.>

Kyle nodded. “Ok.”

The space was narrow, but the rocks formation allowed them to stay here without worrying about the rocks above crushing them to their death. These spaces were often called as survival gaps where many other survivors from catastrophe relied on to be able to survive.

As long as they could stay here long enough until the rescuer come, they could come out alive.

“Meow?” <When did you actually find out?>

“It’s been a while.” Kyle looked at the little cat helplessly. He pulled her closer to warm her up. “Don’t worry too much, I’m not going to talk to you if you don’t want me to know.”

“Meow?” <how is that the same?>

Kate rolled her eyes and looked at Kyle before hissing at him. However, she had to admit that she felt somewhat relieved when she found out that Kyle actually knew about the fact that she’s Kate.

“Heh.” Kyle chuckled.
