The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 106

She warned Kyle.

Because she definitely couldn’t escape by herself.

Her small limbs were definitely very uncooperative if she chose to escape by herself. Thus, if Kate wanted to survive, she knew that her only chance was to call for Kyle and warned him about these giant mutated animals arrival.

“But you know that they’re coming?” Kyle asked again.

“Meow.”

The two of them couldn’t communicate directly, so what Kyle could do was to ask some yes and no question. That way, Kate only needed to nod her head or to shake her head.

Thankfully, Kate could now control her furry body better than when she first become a little cat.

At that time, she couldn’t even walk.

.....

Ugh, how embarrassing.

“I see. It seems that your ability is really interesting, Little Kitty.” Kyle chuckled and tapped Kate’s head softly. “Now, head inside and don’t be naughty.”

“Meow.”

Kate entered the jacket’s pocket once again and pouted. She herself had no intention of going out if it was unnecessary. Anyway, it would be better to wait until they rested before she came out again.

There was no need for her to disturb Kyle.

Avoiding these giant mutated animals and unnecessary battles came as the priority.

“Hey, Kyle, that woman beside Petra seems to be close to him. Are you planning to include her too?” Jake suddenly asked.

Kyle arched his eyebrows. “If she tried to stop me, then I will.”

“I see.”

“Branch.”

Swish!

“Gah!” Jake ducked hurriedly right at Dylan’s warning. He looked at the branch behind him and felt glad that Dylan was paying more attention to their road. Falling from this speed was definitely not going to be a good experience.

They could ask for Little Kitty to heal them, but she definitely couldn’t erase the previous pain they experienced.

“Pay more attention to the road. You don’t want to lose your head when you’re driving in the forest like this.” Kyle rolled his eyes.

His friend is truly an airhead most of the time. This made Kyle wondered just what made him stick to be friend with Jake all these years. There were many chances for him to cut off their relationship, but he never did.

Probably, it was because his friend always allowed him to have a lot of good laugh.

And they never truly interfered with each other’s private business. They knew how to draw the line between something they could participate in and those they had to stay away as far as possible.

“I know, I know.” Jake shouted while moving his body to the side to avoid the large rock that seemed to appear out of nowhere for him.

“Good for you to know.”

“Heh, this remind me of the days when we’re playing in the park.”

“Punished.”

“Don’t make me remember the punishment afterwards! It’s not my fault that we ended up falling into the pond because I just couldn’t control the floating skateboard that well.” Jake howled.

Kate was speechless.

If he couldn’t control his floating skateboard well, doesn’t it meant that the fault was indeed on him? After all, it was something that he did.

However, Kate also realized something as these people were using their floating skateboard and that was their speed was not so fast. It was as if they purposely controlled it so that the speed was only comparable to that of bicycle or slightly faster but far cry from that of motorcycles.

It might be related to the fact that they had to maintain their delicate balance on top of this floating skateboard. Besides, the law of physics in regards to force, angular, and momentum would definitely not allow them to stand straight and face the wind.

That was unless they wanted to be thrown to the back.

And this delicate balance might not be something that a little kid would be able to control well without a lot of practice.

“Thanks to you, I got punished a lot,” Kyle snorted. “You should know that the biggest punishment come because you nearly run over someone when you’re using this floating skateboard.”

“Come on! I was only in junior high school at that time!”

“We’re same.” Dylan frowned.

Jake was speechless.

Alright, they were all of the same age, but it didn’t mean that the others were as stupid and clumsy as him, alright?

Jake might be a bit clumsy most of the time, but he still knew that very well.

He also readily admitted it.

“Meow.”

“What is it, Little Kitty?” Kyle heard the faint call from his cat.

“Meow, meow, meow!”

Hearing the panicked tone of the cat, Kyle frowned.

“What is it, Kyle?” Jake asked.

“I need a translator or a scout. The next time we take a mission, remember to recruit either one of them.” Kyle looked around while paying attention to his road.

“Translator?”

Jake was speechless.

It was fine if Kyle said that they needed a scout because it was indeed hard for them to know what Little Kitty was saying. But asking them to find a translator instead of a scout seemed a bit strange.

But just as he was about to say something, he heard faint buzzing sound from the distance.

Their floating skateboard was not like those motorcycles. Granted that they couldn’t go too fast, but who would want to speed up in this kind of terrain? They would end up facing trees head on and then dropped to the ground.

And the advantage was that these silent floating skateboard allowed them to listen to other sounds around more clearly.

At this time, his expression changed.

“Bees!”

The giant mutated animals that came this time were bees. And knowing that bees were usually going in a swarm, they would definitely be in trouble.

Kyle’s expression also turned serious. From many giant mutated animals around, bees were definitely one of the most difficult one to deal with. There were simply too many of them in a swarm and each of them could sting them.

Who could deal with it?

Normal bees around were already very annoying and now that they had turned into giant mutated animals, they would be even more annoying.

“Kyle, does your cat have bees’ allergy?” Jake asked as he tried to speed up his floating skateboard a bit.

“I don’t know.” Kyle frowned.

The so called allergy was when their body had an adverse reaction to the sting of the bees. Normally, it would not affect them too much and only felt pain, but those who had allergy might end up dying instead.

Kyle was now worried that Little Kitty had some kind of allergy.

“Little Kitty, do you know whether you have any allergy or not?” Kyle asked while watching out for those giant mutated bees.

“Meow?”

Kate was speechless.

If it was her original body, she knew that she had no allergy whatsoever because she had already been stung by a bee accidentally... twice. It was truly a very painful experience, but thankfully, she didn’t feel anything aside from pain.

No shortness of breath.

No itchiness

No other adverse reaction that might cause her death.

Her parents even laughed when they heard of her interesting experience of being stung by bees during her lunch....

As for this cat?

Kate didn’t know.

“Meow?”

Kate was seriously contemplating.

“Kyle! They’re coming closer! Damn it, I can’t possibly make a metal barrier around the three of us!”

“Dylan, water wall!”

Dylan waved his hand and the water inside his bottle that he carried immediately formed a water barrier behind them. Even though they could technically create these elements out of nowhere, it would consume more of their ability.

.....

For the sake of longer battle, they always prepared their elements around them.

Splash! Splash! Splash!

These giant mutated bees came crashing towards the water wall and was effectively stopped for a moment. However, these giant mutated bees were faster than them, so it wouldn’t be easy for them to escape them.

“Kyle, can’t you burn them down?”

“Too many at one time.” Kyle frowned but he still waved his hand and formed a fire wall right behind them.

So after that water wall, these giant mutated bees were facing the fire wall and directly burned to death.

“Meow.”

Kate quickly collected their crystals.

“There’s a pond not far at the front!”

“That’s a fountain, Jake!”

“Whatever! Dylan, form a water wall to surround the area while Jake make the metal wall!”

“Got it!”

Splash!
