The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 39

It didn’t take long for them to see that a female student had returned, she talked to Kyle but because of the angle, it was not possible to know what she was saying.

Kyle still remembered that conversation, though.

He asked “Something?”

“My pencil case is left behind, please excuse me, Professor.” The student bowed down and dodged his eyes. She wanted to move but the little cat near her legs didn’t want to move at all and kept on stroking her calf.

A little cat.

Kyle glanced at Kate, who was looking at the computer with her large eyes while he also looked at it again.

.....

The female student crouched down and carried the little cat.

“Little kitty, big sister wants to go, okay?”

It was right at that moment there was thunder and the two people inside that classroom fainted, including him. Kyle could remember that he felt so dizzy as if the entire world was weighing on him.

Even with his training, he couldn’t resist going to sleep at that very moment.

“Whoa, so you fall in the classroom?” Jake was stunned. “I fell on my gym and honestly, when I woke up, I nearly broke my hand because that barbell has been on my palm all the time.”

Kyle rolled his eyes. “You deserve it.”

“Hey! I didn’t know that it’ll be today, ok? How about you, Dylan. What are you doing when you suddenly faint?”

“Napping.”

Jake: “...”

The world is not fair!

Dylan and probably a small portion of other people in the world were extremely lucky that they were sleeping when the thunder struck and caused them to fell asleep at the exact some time.

The three of them looked at the screen in front of them.

There was no change for the next few hours as Dylan sped it up. There was no way they wanted to watch the same thing for an entire day.

Soon, it was night time and the lack of light make it harder for them to see what happened inside the classroom.

“We all sleep for around 24 hours.” Jake sighed. “I’m lucky that the barbell is on my palm and not my chest or I’ll never wake up ever again.”

“It’s hard to see the classroom.” Kyle frowned.

And after it crossed midnight, there was another thunder from outside that illuminated the classroom.

At this time, they could see that there were still two people inside.

But after the thunder disappeared, Kyle noticed the shadow looked somewhat different. “Dylan, cut the frame and compare it with the one before midnight.”

Dylan tapped a few times and showed the comparison.

When they saw the result, they were astonished. The shadow that belonged to the female student disappeared along with the disappearance of that lightning.
