The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 25

In the journey, Kate felt hungry, so she looked at Kyle, asking for some food. He leisurely took out the baby milk bottle that he had prepared and gave it to Kate, who ate while hypnotizing herself that it was something normal...

She really hoped that she could grow up and eat something else soon.

“Do you need help?” Kate’s mother asked when she saw Kyle was feeding Kate while being the driver.

“It’s fine.”

Kyle leisurely controlled the wheel with one hand while the other hand was holding the bottle to help Kate drink the milk. It seemed that even with the little distraction at the side, it didn’t hinder his driving capability.

Kate’s mother looked at them and said nothing.

.....

When they reached the place, Kate’s father was a bit surprised. He looked at Kyle meaningfully but didn’t say anything.

“You can stay here for the time being. The guest room is...” Kyle explained some of the basic rules to Kate’s Mother and father while Kate herself moved towards the couch. She used the step that was prepared for her and then climbed up.

After positioning herself, Kate leisurely sleep again.

When Kyle was done, he found out that his heartless little kitten was sleeping again without caring for him. He looked at the little cat and shook his head. “What a truly heartless little kitten.”

The only reason why he contacted these two were because this little cat kept on begging him.

Even though he found out that Kate’s father’s identity was quite special and would be useful, he didn’t usually bring anyone into his house. After all, he didn’t want to bring trouble for himself.

Kyle took out his phone and called.

“Where are you two now?”

“Oh, we’ve just finished cleaning our areas. It’s my place first then we go to Dylan’s place.”

“Have everything been settled?”

“More or less. The polices can take care of the rest anyway. I don’t think that it’s necessary for us to be the one to make a move.”

“In that case, come here.”

“Got it.”

The call was cut off and Kyle went to the kitchen to fetch some food. He was also hungry as it was already time for lunch.

Time passed quietly.

When Kate wake up again, she heard the loud sound of doorbell from the front and opened her eyes blearily. Looking at her white furry paw, Kate sighed deeply and then jumped down the sofa.

It seemed that she will have to get used with this body of a little cat.

“Meow?”

“My friends are here.” Kyle noticed the little cat that was approaching him. He thought for a moment before picking her up and placed her on top of his shoulder. With the cat’s small size, she definitely had no problem nestling there.

“Meow.”

Kate looked at the door curiously as it opened and two men in their early twenties walked in. It seemed that Kyle had already entered their identity into the household’s security registration.

Or did he open the door from this distance?

This house was so high end that Kate would not be surprised that the door could be remote controlled.

“Yo, Kyle! Why are you carrying a little cat around?” One of them waved his hand and noticed Kate on Kyle’s shoulder immediately.

Nonsense!

There was no way he wouldn’t notice such a strange view in front of him unless he was blind.

“I have to take care of her for the time being.” Kyle bumped his fist with the first young man and then nodded to the second man.

The second man was a cold man who didn’t seem like he liked to speak. He nodded at Kyle and then placed his bag on the table.

“Huh? I didn’t recall you being such a caring person?”

“It’s an order from the Ancestor, Jake.” Kyle rolled his eyes.

The first person, Jake, was speechless. “It seems that even your father didn’t like how cold you are, Kyle.”
