Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

Chapter 418 - Are You Talking About Us?

Chapter 418 – Are You Talking About Us?

"I don\'t recall saying or doing anything wrong. I was about to ask her what I did wrong when Jasmine pulled me away," Jackson replied honestly.

Yes, Elizabeth is right when she said her mother liked him a lot before she left the sitting room with Jasmine. They got along well before then but he did not recall why Mrs Avans attitude towards him changed suddenly.

"Maybe Jasmine knows what mother was referring to, am I right Jasmine?" Alfred asked Jasmine giving her suspicious glances. Since Elizabeth brought up the issue, he has seen how restless Jasmine became that is why he guessed she knew something about it.

"What!" Jasmine remarked. Her remark and expression made her look even more suspicious.

"I don\'t know what you are talking about," Jasmine denied the allegations.

While they were busy standing beside their cars talking they didn\'t know that at the window of the master bedroom, a man wearing reading glasses was staring at them with different expressions on his face.

"I can\'t believe our children are all grown up now? What\'s even more surprising is that our little Jasmine of yesterday is even talking about marriage," Mr Avans said gazing down at the four people still talking outside their cars.

"They have long grown up, I guess it\'s you who didn\'t want to accept it. You were afraid that they will leave you if you accept that they were grown up…,"

"They have indeed both grown up into the finest set of women that no one ever imagined but what I am worried about is Jasmine. She is a little troublemaker. She tends to cause trouble wherever she goes," Mr Avans expressed his fears, his gaze glued on his second daughter\'s body.

"There is no need to worry about her especially now that you have someone to keep her under control," Mrs Avans said in a cheerful tone.

"And what do you mean by that?" Mr Avans turned to stare at his wife. His expression showed he didn\'t understand what his wife\'s words meant.

"I mean the naughty girl seems to listen quite well to what the young master of Smith family says. It pains me to say this but she indeed listens to his words more than she does to us so why don\'t you give in to what he wants?" Mrs Avans played her card without having to sound suspicious.

For the safety of her grandchild, she would do anything as long as it didn\'t involve killing someone.

"If they get married he will help to watch over her…,"

"If you are speaking up for him because Jasmine asked you then there is no use doing that since I won\'t change my mind even though you interfere," Mr Avans cold voice made his once hopeful wife frown. She followed her husband who was now approaching the couch.

"I know you are stubborn but you know your second daughter beats you to it when it comes to that aspect. Avans, don\'t let your stubbornness lead to repetition of what happened…,"

"I still recall the incident that made Jasmine hate me so much so you don\'t have to remind me about that. I know what to do and what I shouldn\'t do," Mr Avans instead of sitting on the couch as he intended walked towards the entrance. Mrs Avans watched him leave the room.

"I am glad you know this," Mrs Avans muttered before she sat on the couch.

On leaving her parents house, Jasmine followed Jackson home. They didn\'t stay in Jackson\'s house for a long time. Jackson and Jasmine left for the venue of their next appointment after changing into a new set of outfits.

"Ice Prince, how do you think the others will react? Do you think the ladies will nag me a lot?" The anxious Jasmine asked when they were closed to where they had agreed to meet the others.

"Of course, they will scold you a lot or what do you think?" Jackson replied in a tone that made Jasmine even more anxious. He couldn\'t resist smiling when he realised how nervous she has become.

"Although they will scold you, they will shower you with a lot of kisses to show their excitement. They have all missed you a lot so they wouldn\'t be able to scold you for a long time," Jackson who was previously playing around with Jasmine said with smiles.

"Hey, why didn\'t you complete your words earlier. You almost made me…,"

"You can scold me all you want but you must promise not to get angry with me throughout today ok," Jackson said pulling over in front of a cafe. The moment he parked the car, he stretched and kissed the lady sitting beside him in the front seat.

"That\'s my good luck charm. It will make them scold you less," Jackson said before he hurried out of the car to open the door for her.

While Jackson and Jasmine approach the entrance of the cafe, those inside waiting for them became more anxious since the one they were eager to see hadn\'t arrived yet.

"Lizzy, didn\'t you say you all left your parents home at the same time so why haven\'t they arrived yet? What is taking them so long," Evelyn expressed her impatience with a frown on her face.

"Are you talking about us?" All of them at the table heard a familiar voice coming from the direction of the entrance.

Without wasting time they turned their gazes towards the direction the voice came from to confirm their guess.

"Jasmine!!!" Catherine and Evelyn shouted as though it was only Jasmine they saw. They stood up and rushed to where the chic looking lady was coming from.

The first person to reach Jasmine was Catherine. She embraced Jasmine like she hasn\'t seen her for five years. The way she acted showed just how much she has missed her best friend.
