Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

Chapter 379 - The Jovial Jasmine

Since Jackson could not go to the office in his condition, all those involved in the presentation of the new projects came to his house to make the final preparation.

Because the project was confidential Jasmine stayed upstairs and work on her company business.

She was so immersed in her work that she lost track of time. When she realised what was the time, she folded up her work and went to check on him.

"Aren\'t you guys done yet?" Jasmine staring down from the third floor asked loud enough for those working downstairs to hear her.

"We are almost concluding. We will be done in a few minutes," Jackson staring at the lady standing upstairs said.

"Ok but don\'t forget that I am waiting for you. It\'s almost time for dinner, wrap up everything so you can eat and take your medication," Jasmine said loudly. Jackson\'s employees present there acted as though they were not listening to their conversations.

"Guys, none of you present is allowed to leave after your project is concluded. I know your numbers and I have also marked your faces, anyone who dares to leave will have to answer to me. You know what I mean," Jasmine addressed his employees.

"Yes, Madam," all of them chorused to the delight of Jasmine. Jasmine went back to their room so she won\'t disturb their work.

Jasmine went back and continue with her work but she did not forget to set an alarm so that those working downstairs won\'t trick her.

The moment her alarm rang, Jasmine went downstairs. She met them still working.

"Hey guys, I will get very furious if I come back from the dining and meet you guys still working," Jasmine threatened when she reached downstairs.

She did not go close to where they work, she went straight to the kitchen to see how far the chefs were going for the preparation of dinner.

Jasmine was so satisfied when she reached the kitchen and saw that the chefs were done with their preparation.

"Lilian, how about the new plates, spoons and cutlery I asked you to bring down for our guests?" Jasmine asked as she went about inspecting the food.

"I oversaw that the other maids did that. Everything is at the dining table," Lilian replied as she followed Jasmine closely.

"That\'s great! Now it\'s only remaining for the chefs to dish out the food into their respective containers," Jasmine remarked with smiles.

Jasmine left the kitchen to go check on the dining table settings but Lilian remained with the chefs.

Ten minutes later Jasmine went back to the sitting room after the dining table was fully set. When she reached there she realised that they had wrapped up their work.

"The God of luck must really be on your sides because I was planning to spank all of you if I had still met you guys working," Jasmine said with a huge sense of humour making everyone laugh their guts out.

"I am sure all of you must be starving so let\'s go," Jasmine said after their laughter had died off. Jackson stood up and held her hand. The couple led everyone to the dining table.

When they reached the long dining table, everyone\'s mouth dropped open at the fabulous sight before them.

Before them was a table filled with so many varieties of food. The delicious-looking food made them gulp hard.

"Have your seat everyone and feel at home," Jasmine instructed before she and Jackson sat down. Everyone followed suit afterwards.

"Thank you so much Boss and Madam for the food," Max said and everyone did likewise.

"You guys haven\'t eaten and you are already thanking us? What if the food doesn\'t taste nice how should I be responsible for it?" Jasmine said playfully, causing everyone to smile.

Those who thought otherwise of her were surprised to see how friendly and jovial the heiress was.

With her playfulness, everyone felt so relaxed. They didn\'t even feel that they were dining with their boss and this is because Jasmine joviality took all the tension away.

Everyone eat happily. Jackson hardly speaks and this was because he did not want to ruin his woman\'s efforts in wanting to make everyone feel at home.

After the meal, Jasmine did not let them leave immediately. She made them rest in the sitting room. When the time to leave finally reached all of them thank Jasmine repeatedly.

"Guys, I am sorry that I could only do a little for you. Neither he nor Max told me we were gonna have visitors that is why I was not given adequate time to prepare but I promise you guys that you will at least go home with a rewarding gift the next time you visit us," Jasmine standing at the small stairs outside the house said.

"What is she talking about? How could she call entertaining us with an abundance of food and drink inadequate arrangements? She is way too humble for her status," A guy standing at the back muttered but Max standing beside him heard what he said.

"And oh guys... Don\'t forget to visit again," Jasmine said as she bade them farewell. Everyone left after biding their goodbyes. Jasmine and Jackson went back into the house. Jasmine whom Jackson was leaning on gently made him sit on the couch. She took her seat beside him.

"Miss Naughty, thank you for making preparations for all of them to have dinner here. Inviting them for dinner never crossed my thought but you helped me to do the thinking. Thank you," Jackson said with all sincerity.

"What I did was nothing. Also, I did not feed them dinner only because of you but I did that with an ulterior motive," Jasmine said grinning.

"Ulterior motive?" Jackson asked curiously.

"Hmm... I wanted to bribe them to my side and surprisingly my sincerity touched their heart. After the meal didn\'t you see that all of them have grown to like me?" Jasmine said with pride. Jackson smile when he heard the ulterior motives she was referring to.

(Hello lovely readers, I just want to say a big thank you to all those who sent me Christmas gifts. I truly appreciate the gifts you gave to my book. And to those who didn\'t send me gifts, don\'t forget to do that. Hehe.... Just kidding)
