First Demonic Dragon

Chapter 505 Rest After The War.

Chapter 505 Rest After The War.

After the battle was over, the tower showed right back up in the same spot as before; good as new.

Like Tehom itself, the space was infinite; shifting and turning as according to the whims of the Uma-Sarru himself.

Abaddon was not an individual who was full of pride, or devoid of goodwill.

Abaddon invited every dragon into the spire to rest and recuperate after a hard fought war.

He of course took the room on the top floor with his wives.

Lodgings were rather.. bleak.

Everything was the exact same shade of black, from the bed, to the ceiling, the flooring, and even the chandeliers.

But his wives didn\'t seem to care very much at all about their surroundings.

Not two minutes after coming into the bedroom, the ten of them stripped, bandaged their wounds, and crawled into bed.

Abaddon on the other hand chose a different outlet for release.

He rested his body in the bath, and let the boiling hot water ease his aching flesh.

He cupped water into his hands and then buried his face in his palms to help wake himself up a bit.

Resting his arms on the corners of the bath, he stared down into the reflective surface at a strange new addition on his face.

He hadn\'t noticed it before, but after ascending to Jaldabaoth\'s throne, his sclera had been dyed black.

He figured it was like some sort of identifying marker or symbol of status.

After eating that star and 30% of Jaldabaoth earlier, he felt different, but he wasn\'t exactly sure how different.

It was like something buried in his blood was now out in the forefront of his genetic makeup, intertwined with his dragon, spirit, demon, and human components.

It made him one very nasty little cocktail.

But he didn\'t care about that too much.

Holding up his hand, he reached inside of his dimensional storage and pulled out something very old that he\'d hardly ever taken out.

A dirty black shortsword covered in rust, and more dull than a librarian\'s Saturday night plans.

After holding onto it for around a second, the sword started to change.

The rust on the blade started to fall away, and the weapon changed into a very long black sword with a double edge and a silver blade that glowed with a bright red hue.

The hilt was wrapped in black leather, and the entire weapon itself was incredibly thin, so much so that it was no wider than two fingers put together.

Inscribed on the sword itself were what appeared to be normal patterns, but upon waiting for a moment, one could see what they really were.

The wailing faces of the billions of souls laid to permanent rest by this weapon.

There wasn\'t even enough of them left to revive them.

What he was seeing now was no more than a tiny, remnant of their last moments spent screaming in agony.

The weapon seemed like it was fragile and delicate to the touch, but Abaddon could neither bend, nor break it.

And when he got his finger too close to the edge, he ended up cutting himself with staggering ease.

"Woah... Mira is going to be so fucking jealous." He laughed quietly.

Only his second daughter shared his appreciation and zeal for weaponry, and the two of them often compared collections together in friendly competitions.

But this would take the cake.

The most destructive higher being in mythology was now armed with a weapon capable of killing across multiverses.

Any enemy Abaddon killed with this sword would summarily die in any parallel dimension at exactly the same moment without delay.

There was nothing Mira could ask her Uncle Darius to make for her that would be better than this.

"Kekekeke.. I can\'t wait to see the look on her face when... Gross."

Abaddon looked down at the water again and saw that the rust from the blade had fallen into his bathwater.

Making a disgusted face, he put his new toy away and climbed out of the bath not long after.

He released a smoldering heat from his body and dried himself off instantly.

He stepped back into the bedroom and frowned at what he saw.

Audrina was clearly exhausted, yet she was forcing herself to sit up and pull on her dress.

The both of them paused as they caught sight of each other\'s exposed bodies and they stared without hiding their attraction.

"I was just-"

"I know what you were doing, my love." Abaddon said softly. "Back to bed." he ordered.

"... Any chance I can persuade you to let me go?"

Abaddon wrapped a towel around his shoulders as he walked towards his wife.

Once he reached her, he smiled kindly before he brought his lips towards hers.

Ever so softly, he brought his hand between her breasts and started to push her down onto her back.

And he promptly pulled the covers back over her.

"No, you cannot." he said as he licked his lips.

If Audrina was going to have her wishes denied, having them denied this way was much sweeter.

Her slightly reddened cheeks were a clear indicator that she had forgotten all about leaving this room and now had her focus on other things.

"Rest." Abaddon said firmly once again. "The time to bury old ghosts can come later."

Audrina could normally be very opinionated, but for once she seemed to have no words to offer as a rebuttal.

She pulled in her husband closely so that he could kiss her again, and then she curled up next to Bekka, who was already snoring and drooling like a hibernating beast.

"You won\'t join us..?" she asked, her eyes already beginning to get heavy.

Regrettably, Abaddon shook his head as he ran his hands through her hair.

"Not yet. Just give me a little bit of time and I will come back to bed soon."

Audrina nodded and her eyes finally fluttered closed, then Abaddon listened to her breathing fall into a regular pattern.

Finally, Abaddon lifted himself out of bed and started pulling on his normal clothes instead of his robes.

Before he could rest effectively, there was someone he absolutely had to check up on.

-

Abaddon could link the doors in the spire to any room of his choosing for instant and easy travel.

So instead of opening the door and emerging in the hallway, he instead showed up inside of a different bedroom all together.

There, he found his father sitting in a chair; already asleep and snoring lightly.

However, he wasn\'t alone.

He was holding hands with a young woman in bed, who looked eerily similar to the both of them.

She had a pretty face that women and men in heaven or hell would absolutely kill for.

Her body was soft, but in great shape with a solid six pack and muscles that were powerful, but not overly defined.

Her hair had grown a bit since the first time she\'d cut it, now reaching medium length and tickling her shoulders.

But the thing that stood out about her the most was the deep black skin that covered her whole body.

She appeared to be resting at first glance, but upon intruding closer her ruby red eyes opened up immediately.

When she saw who entered, she smiled fondly and sat up on the bed without disturbing the rest of their father.

"How did I know that you would come to check on me without taking a rest yourself first?"

Abaddon shrugged helplessly. "You are my precious sister. There is no way that I could have rested peacefully if I didn\'t see how your transition went."

Kanami held up her free hand and clenched her fist. "I feel powerful.. dangerously so."

"I\'m glad to hear it. My sister and my best warrior should feel like that."

Kanami smiled like a big kid showing all of her sharp teeth.

But a moment later, her smile became sad and the way she looked at her brother changed.

"Sister..?"

"Brother... you have given me more than I deserve, and more than I could ever dream to ask for. I couldn\'t dream of paying you back even if I wanted to… and I feel so guilty for that."

"Have I ever asked you for repayment?" Abaddon smiled.

He sat on the bed next to his sister, and took her underneath his arm.

"I give.. because it makes me feel good to do so. I give because I like to reward those who deserve it.

I give... because I can. I require no repayment, and no words of thanks. Please, do not feel burdened to do so."

The two of them pressed their foreheads against each other and smiled.

"Be that as it may.. I will try my best to get you something perfect for your birthday next month."She said kindly.

Abaddon nearly rolled his eyes out of instinct as he grabbed his sister hard by the nose.

"I\'ll thank you not to worry about it so much, brat. At my last birthday I ended up killing someone, so as long as I can stay in bed all day for this one, I\'ll be content."

Kanami stared at her brother blankly. "You know that no one except Bekka would agree to that plan."

"Don\'t remind me-"

Asmodeus groaned in his sleep before he began to stir, and his children thought that he may have been about to wake up.

Unfortunately, the reality was much worse.

*Sleepily* "No, darlings, don\'t lick me there at dinner..."

A vein bulged in Abaddon\'s head at the same time Kanami made a disgusted face.

Abaddon generated a dangerous current of black and red lightning in his hand, and prepared to give his old man a very necessary shock, when he suddenly received a very untimely message in his mind.

Tor\'Baalos : \'My Overlord, it seems as though you are awake. If you have the time, we would like to request your presence in the throne room.\'

Tanin\'Iver : \'It should only take a moment. We recognize how important your family seem to be to you, so we won\'t keep you long.\'

Abaddon felt like he was about to grow a massive ulcer.

\'Right.. I\'ll give you all three minutes.\'
