Chapter 569: 292: Spirit Control Sect Unworthy_2

“Sect Hierarch, there’s no need. My peers were also for the benefit of the sect. Though I cannot accept their actions, it is understandable.” True Man Miao Hua shook her head and said.

Lin Yi guessed that she wouldn’t deliberately seek revenge. He then said, “Alright, I’ll take you out. Pack your things and join the Sect with me.”

True Man Miao Hua made a fist salute, “Sect Hierarch, I already have all my belongings with me. Everything else belongs to the Spirit Control Sect and I don’t want to take them with me.”

Lin Yi laughed, she was indeed a direct and straightforward person. “Okay, let’s go.” He said.

His hand lightly touched True Man Miao Hua’s shoulder. In a flash, they left the interior of the Spirit Control Sect and returned to the sky above the Protective Sect Array.

The members of the Spirit Control Sect waiting below saw Lin Yi return and hurriedly made a fist salute. True Lord Green Qilin laughed and asked, “Eastern Daoist Friend, have you resolved everything?”

Lin Yi didn’t answer, instead, he said lightly, “Miao Hua has agreed to join my Sun Moon Divine Sect, hence forth she has nothing to do with your Spirit Control Sect.”

“Please rest assured, Daoist Friend, we naturally understand.” True Lord Green Qilin nodded.

“That’s good.” Lin Yi finished speaking, then prepared to leave with Qing Su and Miao Hua.

Seeing this, True Lord Green Qilin hesitated for a moment, then asked, “Eastern Daoist friend, you previously accepted Qing Su Zen Ren from the Medicine God Valley and promised to protect it. Now that our Spirit Control Sect’s Miao Hua is joining the Sun Moon Divine Sect, will she enjoy the same treatment?”

Although it didn’t include words of protection like those of the Medicine God Valley, their sect would also have some deterrence. However, saying it out loud had a completely different effect.

Lin Yi sneered, True Lord Green Qilin really had the audacity to ask this. “Your Spirit Control Sect doesn’t deserve the protection of my Sun Moon Divine Sect. Take care of yourself.”

Then, as if remembering something, he warned, “Also, if the disciples under Miao Hua want to leave the Spirit Control Sect to join my Sun Moon Divine Sect, you mustn’t stop them. Otherwise, bear the consequences yourselves.”

True Lord Green Qilin’s expression changed for a moment. Eventually, he made a fist salute, “Please rest assured, Daoist friend. We will not stop them.”

Even if he was angry beyond words, he did not dare vent it on Eastern Sect Master. He could scold the other Nascent Soul True Monarchs with no repercussions, but if he dared to refuse the words of Eastern Sect Master, he believed he would surely die instantly.

Lin Yi nodded but didn’t say anything else. He took the two Golden Core Real Persons and disappeared into the sky above the Spirit Control Sect.

Only when the aura of the Eastern Sect Master had completely disappeared did True Lord Green Qilin tightly clench his fist and silently returned to his sect.

Since there were some Outer Sect Golden Core members watching from a distance, he couldn’t vent his anger publicly after the Eastern Sect Master left.

Some Golden Core people of the Spirit Control Sect who were close to the retreat cave of their ancestors heard an angry roar. After a while, even the mountain began to shake.

The surrounding Golden Core Real Persons also heard the words of the Eastern Sect Master. They found it funny that the Spirit Control Sect had lost face. Even though the Eastern Sect Master was both righteous and evil, he wasn’t the kind of evil associated with the demonic path.

After returning to the Sun Moon Divine Sect, Lin Yi once again gathered the Golden Core Real Persons inside. He introduced the two new Real Persons, Qing Su and Miao Hua. The former would be in charge of the Pill Sect and the latter would run the Spirit Beast Sect.

The two newly joined Golden Core Real Persons also learned about the new ways the Sun Moon Divine Sect trained disciples. They found it strange, but they also saw the benefits of this type of disciple training.

Jade Illusion Zen Ren looked at these two Golden Core sisters who had different auras and were proficient in different areas. She couldn’t help but laugh.

Other sects had to train their own disciples if they lacked any. But their Sun Moon Divine Sect could simply take what they lacked directly from another sect.

Having interacted the most with the Sect Hierarch, she could tell that he wasn’t as licentious as she had imagined. However, it was true that he loved beautiful women.

Lin Yi let the two Golden Core Real Persons choose their own sect mountain peak, issued them the Identity Jade, and then let them go to establish their own sects and improve the system of disciple training.

He shook his head in admiration, appreciating the comfort of the Sun Moon Divine Sect. If they lacked any talents, they simply snatched them up, unlike at Yun Yi Peak, where he currently only had disciples like Xu Yu Rou to rely on.

Over these years, his newly recruited Golden Core Real People, including those originally from other sects, had abandoned their former sects, wishing to join the Sun Moon Divine Sect.

However, these Golden Core Real People have not opened any back doors. Those aspiring to join the sect must pass a formation test.

From this, it can be seen that these Golden Core Real People had completely regarded the Sun Moon Divine Sect as their home, providing them a sense of belonging.

Lin Yi left the Sun Moon Palace and returned to his Dong Fang Feng. After entering his cultivation cave mansion and activating the formation, he then transferred to the Dan God Secret Realm.

Within the Secret Realm, he made a simple inspection of the Spirit Beast Dojo. Over the past thirty years, Zhi Ling’s disciple, Zhi Lei, had gradually become acquainted with everything about the dojo.

However, due to his playfulness and lack of dedication to learning, Zhi Lei often got beaten up by Zhi Ling. Each beating left him bruised and battered, his fur standing on end, crying to go home to his mother.

But at this point, whenever Zhi Ling narrowed his eyes, the little guy would immediately stop crying, for fear of getting another beating.

Zhi Ling’s parents visited once ten years ago, of course, within the Sun Moon Divine Sect. Lin Yi couldn’t bring Zhi Ling’s parents into the Secret Realm just yet.

Seeing the cultivation environment of the Sun Moon Divine Sect and Zhi Lei’s progress, they were very satisfied, and expressed their gratitude repeatedly.

They stayed for about a month before returning to the Monster Forest. Lin Yi had encouraged them to stay a little longer, but they declined gracefully, saying they were used to the Monster Forest.

During his patrol in the Spirit Beast Dojo, Lin Yi noticed a bolt of lightning in the distance. In a flash, he grabbed a little figure, “Well, Zhi Lei, you’re skipping classes again. I’ll tell your sister.”

“No, big brother master, I didn’t. I understand what the old turtle was teaching, there was no need to listen.” Zhi Lei hurriedly begged for mercy, saying in his mind.

They had already established a master-servant contract. Even though Zhi Lei was only at the Foundation Establishment Realm, Lin Yi could sense his thoughts through psychic sense.

“Not only do you dare to give your teacher a nickname, but you think that once you understand, you can skip classes. Go back!” Lin Yi slapped his head and spoke with an unhappy tone.

Zhi Lei drooped his head dejectedly. He was about to return when he suddenly sensed something. Quickly, he clambered onto Lin Yi saying, “Master, save me, my sister is coming.”

“Zhi Lei, you’re skipping classes again…” A bolt of lightning struck nearby, and Zhi Ling flew over aggressively.

Upon seeing Lin Yi, she quickly returned to her usual docile, sweet countenance and said, “Master, why didn’t you say something to Zhi Ling when you came back?”

When Lin Yi was inspecting the Dojo, he had cloaked his aura and cut off the psychic bond with his pets. As such, Zhi Ling couldn’t sense his arrival.

Otherwise, his arrival would’ve been detected by Zhi Ling almost immediately upon entering the Dojo.

“Sister, are you still pretending? You’re good in front of the master, but a big bad wolf when he’s gone.” Zhi Lei, hiding in Lin Yi’s clothing, couldn’t bear it anymore and blurted out.

“Master, give him to me. I’ll take him back and teach him well.” As Zhi Ling glared, the little guy immediately pulled his head back into the pocket.

Zhi Lei immediately shook his head. “No, big brother master, spare me…”

Without hesitation, Lin Yi pulled Zhi Lei out and handed him over to Zhi Ling. “Indeed, he needs to be taught well. Off you go.”

As a bolt of lightning whipped across the sky, Zhi Lei’s pleading cries echoed from afar.

Lin Yi couldn’t help but chuckle. It really wasn’t easy for Zhi Ling, the little sable, to take care of the child. Following that, he went to visit the Pill Immortal Master and attended a few hours of his tutorial before teleporting back to the Liu Yun Sect.

He planned to handle some affairs at Yun Yi Peak, then preach to the disciples, and afterwards continue with closed-door cultivation to comprehend the next Divine Skill.
