The Birth Of A Villainess

Chapter 17 - Chu Chu (I)

Just as expected, Chu Chu didn\'t react to that and remained standing like she didn\'t care about anything in this world.

Lin Xiaofei sighed, she could somewhat guess what turned her into this kind of Chu Chu.

As someone working in the night business, Chu Chu was able to hear the gossip and the conversations of every nobleman, and that may include the closest people around Yu Fangzhu.

She must have heard of the past \'Xiaofei\'s\' horrible ending and regretted that she was of no help to her and couldn\'t save her best friend.

Both Xiaofei and Chu Chu grew up in the same environment and were so close to each other that they would even call each other sisters. Even after marrying off, Xiaofei and Chu Chu had some connection and spoke to each other.

However, they couldn\'t meet up in public since a prostitute and a prince\'s concubine laughing and going out together was something that could be the greatest joke of the country.

That was why Yu Fangzhu forbids Xiaofei from getting closer to anyone from her past and poor life. At that time, Xiaofei, who was crazily in love with the Fourth Prince agreed to what he said without any question, she nodded her head like a chicken at everything he said with a smile on her face..

But Xiaofei couldn\'t stop herself from looking for someone to confide in with her problems. She secretly met with Chu Chu and told her the countless battles inside the Fourth Prince\'s inner courtyard, the concubines who vied for favors, the legal wife who secretly planned to harm her competitors, and Yu Fangzhu\'s secrets.

Before Xiaofei was taken to be interrogated and tortured, she secretly sent a pigeon to send a few letters to Chu Chu, it was all done in secrecy and Xiaofei did everything she could to not alarm Yu Fangzhu and his men.

And when Xiaofei was captured and was taken to the dungeon, she was no longer able to connect to the outside world and was deprived of everything; food, water, bath, and even clothes to cover her from the cold.

The food and water they sent to her were barely filling up the wooden bowl they gave her and the food for dogs was even better than what she was given. However, Xiaofei grasps every tiny hint of hope for survival and forcefully ignored her disgust and embarrassment.

Lin Xiaofei reached her hand out, her porcelain white and healthy hands were in contrast to the yellowish and thin hands of Chu Chu.

Suddenly, Lin Xiaofei felt her eyes tearing up as she looked at Chu Chu as if she was searching for her sister\'s soul from within it.

"Chu Chu, its Xiaofie, what happened to you?" She softly said.

Originally, Chu Chu was feeling empty and didn\'t have any desire to show any emotions in her eyes but as soon as the young lad in front of her reached her hand out, Chu Chu flung it away and pushed him.

\'Bang!\'

Lin Xiaofei almost hit the table behind her and was surprised at her reaction.

"You fucker! Are you out of your mind?!" She glared at Lin Xiaofei and continued, "Are you one of them? Did that bastard send you here to play with me again? Isn\'t taking my sister away from me not enough to you!"

Suddenly, Chu Chu took out a small dagger from her belt and pointed the blade to her neck. The last stroke of pain struck her when she heard the name of her best friend who was almost a sister to her and died brutally at the hands of the man she blindingly loved.

Her tears started to fall from her eyes like a faucet, her shoulder quivered every time she let out a gasp.

At this sight, Lin Xiaofei felt her feet being buried in ice water and all of her movements were stopped, she could clearly see the fear and hatred in Chu Chu\'s eyes as she was determined to do this.

"Chu Chu… Chu Chu, please don\'t do this. Believe me, I didn\'t come here because someone sent me. Hell, I didn\'t come here to hurt you--"

Lin Xiaofei didn\'t finish her words when she saw the blade touching Chu Chu\'s neck and a bead of blood stained the tip of the blade.

"No!" Lin Xiaofei shook her head.

Why? Why was this happening to her? What did they do to you, Chu Chu? Lin Xiaofei almost broke down once again but she forced it down before coldly saying, "Fine! Kill yourself and relieve yourself from the pain they caused you but I will promise you that will never be the answer to your hatred and your loved ones will never look at you again."

She hurriedly said those words in one breath that after delivering it, Lin Xiaofei was breathing hard with her eyes glowering at Chu Chu with anger and remorse.

She was angry at what Yu Fangzhu did to Chu Chu while she was locked in a dungeon and remorseful that she couldn\'t save her from being part of Yu Fangzhu\'s evilness.

However, how could she stop Chu Chu if she really wanted to kill herself? Maybe this was the right thing since living in this cruel world was much worse than dying.

Lin Xiaofei lived two lifetimes already but this was also one of her misfortunes. She wanted to waste her second life for the sake of revenge on Yu Fangzhu and those people who joined him to make her life miserable but that didn\'t include watching her most loved ones suffering because of her death and in the hands of her enemies.

Biting her lips, Lin Xiaofei closed her eyes. She hardened her heart as she wished she could feed Yu Fangzhu to the dogs alive and chop his body into tiny pieces with everything he did to her and her most loved ones.

She wanted to watch her enemies being eaten alive while a beast played with them.

In the blanket of silence, Lin Xiaofei opened her eyes as a trace of killing intent burst forth from it.

She can\'t wait any longer.

She needed to do something to quell the thirst for revenge inside her heart. Lin Xiaofei planned to prolong the happiness of her enemies but with what happened today, she could no longer wait.

It is best if I eliminate the roots to kill the buds.
